What is the Rarest Item in Oldschool Runescape?

What is the rarest item in this game? Well as oldschool runescape is such a goal focused game, there are many extremely rare items and achievements. Today I am going to be looking at what items are the rarest items to ever exist in oldschool.
Now thanks to the grand exchange, most items are not rare at all. You can simply buy the majority of items. That said there are some sought after items you cant buy. These items can be as rare as only having a handful of players to own them.

Sinhaza shroud is also available including hard mode tob kc eg if you have 1900 tobs and 100 hmt kc then you can claim the 2k cape. Probably around 30% more people with the cape than listed

I remember years ago mod mat k did a community stream going over some numbers and data, and the ahrims staff '25' ended up being one of the rarest items in game (something like only 13 total) because no one ever used ahrims staff; that was back when it was 2handed and gave no %damage

Afaik you can still obtain the Bounty Hunter hats by getting Target kills on the designated Target Worlds, it's just a lot slower because the wilderness is pretty dead on those worlds.

slayer cape untrimmed is one of them. most players often have a trimmed one due to other 99s. mod Lottie posted about rarest capes and 99 slayer untrimmed was extremely low

Given that a lot of these are capes, i'm surprised you didn't add single 99 untrimmed capes, particularly slayer. the stats were posted by Lottie in 2016 but i think a good estimate would be under 200 given that a lot of people get slayer as their first 99 and get several other 99s after.

The number of people with the 2k theater of blood cape is more then 950. Hardmode completions are included in the total number of tob completions a player has. 950 players have obtained the cape through normal mode but I have a number of friend that have the cape with less than 2k normie completions.

I was using my main and alt splashing on each other while I farmed out the full Decorative gold armor. My main got to 93 magic using Fire strike and my alt got to 86 magic using Wind strike. I thought it was pretty crazy getting 86 magic off of just a level 1 spell. My main is 99 magic now but I purposely grinded for that and my alt is 92 magic.

Nah believe it or not you don’t have many high lvl people playing cw due to more rewarding in game content. I played a few days ago. Granted games are time consuming but still fun and passes the time if you don’t have other things to do. Lots of mixed level players.

I have a mostly complete theory on how the burnt oomlie wrap is made. I tried to make it a few months ago but I have run into one issue. I would like to find someone who can solve the last part but I also don't want to give away anything until it has been fully tested. I've tested part of it with other food, and have some promising results.

But essentially you have to be lvl 50 cooking, start cooking the item so the menue pops up that asks how many to cook, then somehow have your cooking lower to 43 while still in the menue and then start cooking. Preferably on a fire.

Full CW gold decorative armor used to be a trimmed completionist cape requirement in RS3 and took roughly 80 DAYS of AFK gameplay for a single cape req. Luckily it has been reworked a few years ago because it was fucking stupid.

.... I am not kidding, i believe i know how to get that burnt oomlie wrap. But it might be so specific, the bug in question or situation could maybe be so limited you'd be able to only do it once per quest completion or something akin to that. OR, i suspect, one need to manipulate stat regeneration and on purpose lower your cooking level and then keep it down as you progress slowly with the quest. It would be however so insanely slow to do, there's no point in doing it anyways.
