Walking with a weighted backpack on is Great for cardio, and you only burn slightly less calories than doing so running and best part is its low impact so you could still do cardio into later ages without nearly as much pain. Learned that in the army I did

I said on another video, we really need a mod that creates a skull "tool" that does nothing, but can be held in hand, and is automatically inserted into the corpse bag inventory after death. All the better if you can make it so the skull has the name of the person who died on it, either in the item title or description or something. Shadow needs her comfort skulls!

FYI on the amplified drill, it's large grid only, and 3x3x4 in size. Very big. But also very VERY powerful. Edit: oh, also, yes, the ore deposits are few and far between, many kilometers of travel for the rare ones. However, as you found with the Magnesium deposit, they're MASSIVE deposits. All of them sit in a layer that runs from ~2 blocks to ~10 blocks below the surface (except a couple of the exotic strategic ores). They're very clearly designed with the idea of setting up permanent mining outputs, with the facilities (and/or vehicles) to mine out chunks of the deposit as you need them, and possibly also the facilities on-hand to process it as well. I made an automated crawler miner at one location for that purpose, though aerial drones would probably be easier. You're also probably going to want to do automated drone logistics to cart them back to a central facility.

If you want a small-grid mining rover that can actually reach the ores, I have developed several designs for tunneling rovers that actually work (unlike the usual "wall of drills followed by a rover" first attempts). They can maneuver, including leveling out, turning upward, or turning around, while tunneling and completely underground. I've never seen a content creator do it, so it would be "something different". The drawback of digging a tunnel however is that it's not at all a fast process.

I had seen several people make attempted mining rovers that overbalance themselves and dive for the center of the earth when the drills start filling up, and a few semi-successful ones that work as long as you don't want to turn, but none really capable of steering and maneuvering successfully.

Also, @Splitsie - as there are not tiered solar panels in the game, I don't think double panels are dodgy. I look at them as the difference between Monocrystaline Single-Junction and Polycrystaline Dual-Junction cells. How panels are made can drastically alter performance, and I use dual stacked panels to represent more efficient panels without requiring a mod.

[QoL] Production Quota is better... I wish Isy's did a lot less actually. I never use Isy's crafting, and whenever I use it I have to turn off a bunch of things (Refinery sorting, auto-assignment, and other things). I've started trying other scripts that only do inventory sorting, but Isy's is still the best so far.

Sigh! Why do people build rotating drill rigs and then make the drill arms symmetrical? And still complain about building efficiency. One side is going to drill the same voxels 180 degrees further ahead. If it wasn't already drilled away by the other side. And a symmetrical drill arm only gets 1/4th of the voxels out compared to the same number of drills on one side (surface area of circle is proportional to square of radius)

Rotors are FAR more stable when balanced, you can push the piston in more quickly if the drills are active in two parts of the circle at the same time.
