I already had a feeling I liked you and then you said that about expectations and disappointment and I knew I was right. Great video thanks. Only home stuff for me but I have a FLIR meter and it has that same feeling in your hand you're describing. I think this may be my camera..

Nothing said about battery life and is it possible to change batteries or does unit need to be sent to a specialist (factory).

Hi there, nice review! May I ask what is the maximum distance you could use this on a wall, how far behind can you stand and get results?

like you said, it seems like a decent device for my first thermal imaging device, I'm thinking about buying it which is how I found your video - the only thing that kinda makes me angry is that they said to you it's not a thermal camera, it's a thermal imager, even though the package (visible the whole time you're telling this) clearly has "thermal camera" printed on it. it's a small gripe, granted, but that kind of rubs me the wrong way for some reason.

I made the mistake of buying one expecting it to act as a thermal imaging camera. 2 main problems. It does give a temperature scale with the pictures, it only gives you a spot temperature but the red and blue image only tells you if something is hotter or colder than other parts of the image. Second, there is no option to turn off MSX and look at only the thermal image. A shame since both of these problems could be fixed with a software update.

What's your thoughts on the Milwaukee infrared thermometer?
@quickfixer75912 жыл бұрын
that Milwaukee (2267-20) is worth buying if you can get it at a discount. I sold the one that's in this video and bought a Fluke 62MAX+ but then sold the Fluke to get a Flir. if you're doing this for a career, get the highest distance to spot ratio possible

this camera can measurrement the temperature of human?
@quickfixer75912 жыл бұрын
in theory, yes if you adjust the emissivity setting (0.99) but there are other parameters to consider (like moisture on the surface of the skin)

I down-voted because the video is so terribly disorganized. This guy needs to collect his thoughts and read from an outline, if not a script. And I say that knowing that he was trying to read from a list! He said "this is not a camera", but the box says "Thermal Camera" right on the box in the background. What's his point? He must be making some important semantic difference. But what is it? Comparing Arctic to Iron color palettes was a failure because two totally different images were used. "If it wasn't for MSX, this thing would be like half its value". Great! But, what's MSX? "Thermalcouple on this thing is a joke". Must've meant "thermocouple". But what about it is a joke? He got distracted by the Fluke software, then the screen glare, then the Klein, and I couldn't even ... Then: "I wanna show this part, you have to go through a process". But what was the process? What's the point of that? And what was the joke? "This Milwaukee doesn't play." Does that mean it's a very serious tool, or that it doesn't work at all? "I don't know what to tell you." I don't know what you told me. "This camera is great, we'll get into it later." But it's not a camera, right? And he didn't get into it later. "Leave your thermalcouples alone. Enough said about that." Yes, enough said. I'm lost, because they didn't say anything. "Put a piece of painter's tape." Okay, I got some painter's tape. Where am I going to put it? On what? Why? It's like he keeps interrupting himself and never lets himself finish a thought. "In reality, for the money, it is what it is. Entry level." Okay. What's that mean, specifically? Thing is, FLIR describes this model as an "advanced thermal camera". (And there's that "camera" word again.) "This is a good buy for what you're buying." That doesn't tell me anything. So, that's why I down-voted. Hope it helps.
