He didn't want to take the blame and left his son. Didn't wanted anyone to find him that's why made problems with Henry and kept him busy.....he had no interest in doing anything against main protagonist and Delilah. Shub this game has a pretty complex story but in short let me tell you according to most logical and popular theory Delila knew about Ned from starting and she was supporting him to hide until she found Brian is dead. Maybe she was told by Ned that he sent Brian back home but after finding this out maybe she had guilt to support Ned and she wanted to escape from this life starting a new one. btw liked your content as always shub ❤

It's just a story of humans running away from their problems. But some people can't accept that so they make these conspiracy theories to cope and make it spicy themselves. In a way firewatch is making fun of those kind of people too.

yeah as the above person said all these are just to make you paranoid even when the conversation between delilah and other person where she says that he has no idea, it all done to make you feel paranoid like to feel suspicious and that's the beauty of the game you think delilah is hiding something from you but in the end henry and delilah both are escaping their mistakes and that's why in the end she says to return back to his wife, and face the consequences and she will try to start her new life as well.
