Go to John Deere get a Oring kit for A/C go thru all the connections and replace the o'rings use the GREEN ONES for R134! Get a new Dryer and you need a Harbor Freight VAC PUMP and gauge set !!! Your system is EMPTY and now full or Dirty air and moisture If you just fill it you are going to lay out 600 for a compressor if its NOT TRASHED ALREADY !

Glad all is safe and sound, cleaned up, and in the AC. Long trip! I'd definitely investigate the bellhousing and belt issue. Pump length, depth of pulley, installed "level" (if tilted) - make adjustments for sure! Enjoy the break fellas, be back to racing shortly (breaks are always too long but not long enough!). What Jesse said about driving the RV and then his car feels like a go cart. I use to drive tankers (Peterbuilt , KW, Freightliner and Mack) SF bay area to Portland and back. My car was a Fiat 850 spider. The car could almost fit in the cab of the truck. Talking about culture shock. that was it. enjoy your time at home. God bless your racing ventures.

LOL 😂YOU WENT FROM A BIG RIG TO A SNAIL 🐌. LOL 😂 A friend of mine has a super late model and one of his sponsors bought a 4 cylinder and had my friend race it a good number of times to get it dialed in for the sponsors son to race it. I have picked on him for going with all those horses under the hood to a SNAIL 🐌..LOL HE got really tickled as did I especially watching him try to go through the corners and with 4 cylinders, they're not set up for racing to begin with and even tweaking and changing the few things allowed due to rules,those things just don't want to turn through the corners at all.. 😂😂

The alignment of the crank pulley to the pump is off. There should be a way to verify with a tool, straight edge. Either the angle of engine crank pulley or at the pump. Could be bent pump brackets from fatigue Take you time. You can find it. You guys are Awesome

Curious is the back engine plate is bent considering the oil pump belt and burning up starters. We use to have to shim our starters mounts for alignment. Just thinking out loud, I'm sure the guys have checked that.

crazy that belt keeps having problems on yall maybe its the flywheel pulley bent? def have to get that situated..tell joey that they make dye that u put in ur a/c that when it leaks u can tell where its coming from or get ya a o ring kit for freon and replace them

You guys obviously have an alignment problem on those pumps,I don't know how you've been aligning them but in my Fabrication shop or on our cars we'd either use a 2'blade from a combination square or just use a string, but those two things don't tell you if the two units are square to each other, but there are ways for that also. I'm not sure if you bought that shop or renting etc. but you really need a small Air Makeup Sys. it would help with exhaust, welding fumes and HEAT and in most applications you don't even need the air conditioning added into it because the air moves so fast it doesn't need it. It's something to look into. 🤔😉🇺🇸

You might want to check the oil pump belt on Jessie's car, as I saw a lot of the pulley on the pump.

I think those long stacked pumps are a bad deal. All that weight bouncing off the back of the engine can break mounts, shave belts, cause misalignment and blow engines. I think behind the engine is a good place for the oil pump but the power steering pump can be on the front with the water pump. Unless the rear mounted stacked pumps can be eliminated from bounce and vibration, separate them out. P.S. Put Jesse in the 28 Special race car and Joseph in the Capital and race Crates.

Poor Jesse, gets the hand me down parts and has to put up with parts being "borrowed" for the supers. He gets to run the old engine while Joseph gets a new one. Good point, it would add insult to injury if Joseph beat Jesse with an older 604. 🤣🤣 I'm joking of course. I stopped the video in the middle and ordered some ProLine to wash the motorhome with. Glad to see the oil pump belt didn't give out on you again. I would be going through everything associated with it with a fine tooth comb then go over it again just to be sure. It was good seeing everyone at Eldora and FALS last month. Next stop for us is the World in September.
