Haha, you caught a lot, missed a couple - usually on technical counts, like "Raimis" being plural, referring to both Sam and Ted in the supermarket slasher _Intruder_ from 1989 - and even made some that weren't intended to be there! (Like, the only non-slasher film to get a name drop in an adlib was _Hellraiser: Bloodline_ . I made that one arguable in the audio because I think it's a fascinating discussion to have about not just that movie, but the franchise, where the lines for slasher/non-slasher films lie, and which elements are necessary - in-universe and out - to fit the definition of a slasher series. Side Note: I wouldn't personally consider _Critters 4_ and _Dracula 3000_ to qualify for the "In Space" canon, even though they both take place there, as they're not slasher films: one is part of a creature feature franchise, and the other is a loose sci-fi adaptation of Dracula. If you keep saying this, I'm going to keep replying with the same information until it sticks: This audio, like most of my work, is F4A--that is, female voice for any listener because I like my stuff to reach as wide an audience as possible. (That's just good business!) The singular they is appropriate in this situation. After all, I don't know the listener's gender. ^^ I understand how it might be jarring to some folks, but it's hard to completely avoid in a gender neutral story. I suppose I could try to edit every script to omit it entirely and better preserve complete immersion for every listener, but unfortunately I don't have time and some writers don't allow edits anyway. Sorry to say! I'd love for everyone who stumbles on my channel to have the best experience possible with my audios. I realize the singular they is (currently) a bit controversial, but it's been in use in English since the 14th century. And, even if it hadn't been, language changes all the time, often over a very short span. ("Thick" to "thicc"; "on fleek" which has no known etymological basis at all; "dank"/"bad"/"bomb" shifting from negative to positive connotations.) As I writer, I think that's kinda cool, really! So I don't see a problem with it. I hope you understand and that the use of "they" in such situations doesn't take you out of the stories too much. 💖

Yep! That's the one! Leprechaun 4 is _terrible_ even by direct to VHS sequel standards of the day. It's a miracle the series sort of recovered afterward. _In the Hood/Back 2 tha Hood_ are arguably much, much better. (Structurally, at least. They're all still Leprechaun movies, so...you know what you're in for.) ^^

This reply is late but, for better fun "bad" horror, most with an emphasis on comedic/satirical elements that I adore: Tremors (1990) Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988) Night of the Comet (1984) The Stuff (1985) How to Get Ahead in Advertising (1989) The People Under the Stairs (1991) Parents (1989) Mars Attacks! (1996) Videodrome (1983) Braindead/Deadalive (1992) Brain Dead (1989 - note: NOT the same film as above) And my favorite of the classic slasher series are: Nightmare on Elm Street (somewhat messy continuity, mostly consistent characterization, my favorite slasher) Friday the 13th (messy everywhere, all over the place, usually fun) Child's Play (a little messy, super fun, but especially post-Bride of Chucky!)
