I've got 2 trex 500 helicopters with H1 in them flying good one going in a scale body sounds like you have an electric tail motor that sound spoilt it for me.

Fair enough. The new tail blades that they send with the newer version are much quieter. You don't even notice it when it's more than 20m away. I find the heli very quiet.

I bet that's more challenging than flying a drone

It's got a flight controller that has a GPS mode so flys just like a drone. Though, It's a lot more dangerous..2 x 500mm blades spinning at 2000rpm with about 10hp behind them isn't for the feint of heart lol. Giant flying killer lawnmower. Flick of the switch it becomes a proper RC helicopter. I've been practicing on an RC heli simulator for a long time plus my experience from 15 odd years ago, and soon I'll take this up in 3D mode to fly like a proper collective pitch heli. Just gotta get over the fear of flying it in the mean time.
