As someone who raised domestic turkeys, I can tell you, they CAN fly, but the farmers clip about 3 inches off their wing tips, making the wingspan 6 inches shorter and thus not long enough to let them fly.

Great episode. Though you have to admit, you parachute system is "suboptimal". I made parachutes, out of the plastic furniture cover film. They sell it by sheets of 4*5 meters, it's thin, but as long as you spread the load with a tape it works like a charm. They sell it in construction stores with paint rollers and brushes and stuff.

A replacement aircraft could be a Boeing 747 or a Boeing C-17 Globemaster III. Hypothetically, it would work with the same system as the "Cabby" aircraft for motors and servos, but to make the plane a scale model, you might have to develop a smaller propeller, or use the cylinder design from the UFO you flew a few months ago to make the aircraft as close to realistic as a model can be. The reason I stated the Boeing 747 is because the first intended use was for a mobile fighter jet "hanger," it was proposed to carry 14 small fighter jets. The plan was great, but when the pilots couldn't stay perfectly aligned, the arm to pick up the fighter aircraft caught the right catch area with the left side, and they had to abort the plan. If all of you at FliteTest read and consider this option, I would love to hear from you all, possibly help with system designs. Thanks for all you do to make these amazing aircraft models, and doing the "strange" things you do to bring together a worldwide community of scale model pilots and drivers, and show what anyone can do with time and practice in our hobby.

My idea for the new heavy Hauler: Modular. For example different noses for different missions. An FPV nose, a nose with a 3rd prop, a nose with airsoft canons. Swap in the right nose for the appropriate mission. Wings: Wing extensions like that flying wing you tested. And, although bigger than Cabbie, it breaks down more, and all fits in a small SUV.
