Easy U/C method.. hot glue a CF rod axle to the bottom then add a couple of spacers so the wheels dont rub against the sides.. and use a light weight wheel on both sides..put the wheels well to the front on the body to stop the nose tipping forward.. cutting into the fuzz just looses the available internal space for your gear

I did this to my FT Versa but using cable channel, but only used it for landings because there’s no grass for landing rc planes here. Cable channel helped me with CoG and as a lipo compartment. Very well protected too.

I would love to see a plane where you can alter the configuration of the wings in flight. ie with a pivot in the middle you could go from a flat straight wing to one with dyhedral, or you could go laterally and go from flat and straight wing to flat and swept forward or back. Would be cool to play with and see the effects on glide slope verses acrobatics... love your channel by the way.. keep it up.

I would say develop the idea, once you are actually landing on it that is. Also remember, 99.9% of gliders have this concept kind of taken, yes there is a small wheel in the back, but, well they at least land on it as opposed to landing on the nose, or prop, or ...
