Flite Fest 2014 (Recap)

I've been following you all for not quite a year now, and all I can say is that you all are a class act as always. Your humble approach is paralleled by none. You guys may be what single handedly makes this hobby a family hobby more than anything in the history of RC. I've been out of the hobby for several years due to military deployments and lack of funds, but I can't wait until I get to fly with you all sometime in the future!

Watching flitetest is what got me started on rc planes. Started with a champ and now I am moving to a delta ray after watching flitetests review. You guys make it look so easy. Thanks for all the help.

Hi flight test and thank you for another exciting event, I made plans to be there However, I was at the hospital with the mrs. She was having surgery and my present was as a husband required for surport. I am happy to say that she is making a long and painfull recovery. This the second time I missed the event and missed out on meeting a group of great people.I truly would have enjoyed the pleasure of meeting the staff . I thank you again and look foward to another great flight test show.:0)

Went as a spectator Friday and really enjoyed it. Will be bringing planes next year! I'd like to see some sort of an organized bomb drop challenge. Myabe make a target out of a huge box or something with a small hole in the top of it for a bullseye. If a bomb goes in the bullseye, have something happen like lights and sirens.

I wish you made more events videos, it's really nice to watch and gives some dream. Today I flied my scratch build for the first time, only for a few seconds (launched it, made a turn and landed) but it felt great. There are not that many events here in France and I would love to go to one and do nice stuff like that. Keep going dudes, I will try to get my couz in the hobby with your kits.

love that people chipped in for that expensive 3D heli that went down! That just shows how close the RC community is. Also love the signature kraken in the background and the painted storch. That is really great! Any chance you could create workshops for teachers (perhaps get professional development or college credit)? I'm a high school science teacher and would love to learn more about RC flying, teach it to my STEM students, and perhaps start an RC club.

Hiya flite test! I really wish I could have been there, but it would take quite a while to get there being in Australia.. But great video, it looked like flite fest was a ton of fun! Very cool. Going to try and go in 2016. Josh and his gang are the antithesis of my LHS. I walked into mine and asked if they had any kits. Guy says - "No one is into building any more." So wrong. These guys are really doing something cool and stretching the hobby among generations. As someone said buying a RTF plane is missing a big part of the fun.

Hey Flight Test i really love watching all of your videos. I've seen them all and i'm still a beginner pilot i have the Horizon Hobby duet. I'm looking to get the Sport cub S micro version. i really wish i could go to Flight Fest this year but i'm not allowed to go. :(. Keep up the good work! I'd really like to see a video on how to build a beginner plane.

you guys should organize an international flight fest every 2-4 years. do one in australia, new zealand, germany, etc etc. i know there are a lot of people in australia that would come along if you did one here. you could even do a month long thing, go to 4 major cities in each country in a month.
