Awesome run guys! I'm not sure how I didn't find this video till today. I especially like your solution for the turbine blade and the package. My FLL team is also working on a similar attachment which we are still trying to figure out. Specifically we are running into problems with our trigger mechanism for dropping the turbine blade. I'm thinking about maybe making a video about to see what other people think would work better or more efficiently. Anyways, good luck for the rest of your season!

Great work guys. I am wondering how you got the turbine blade attachment to drive over the blue holder. I see that you have wheels right up against the south wall, but there really isn't room for any lego parts to make it between the holder and the south wall. I am wondering if your mat is too far from the south wall. I would hate for you to get at the competition and find out your attachment doesn't fit. Good luck! Super job, no matter what!

Thanks! We currently use MyBlocks to program our robot. We are learning Python and plan to use it in the future.

Very cool! This is the best run ive seen so far! I am a little bit confused on why you didn't do the switch engine, seems kinda easy to do with just one gear, or zero if you find something smart. Anyways good job and can't wait too see you guys in the world final ;)

How do you move around the map? Do you use sensors?

We move around using the Gyro Sensor. We mostly use Gyro Turns and Gyro Straight Correction.

Awesome job. Just FYI. M16 you will get only 70 points. Green -20, Blue-10, grey *2-10, circle*2 10. Also cargo on ship it should'not touch anything other than just the yellow ship platform, from video its not very clear. Just make sure.

My competition is tomorrow. Unfortunately it will be done remotely, and we were only aloud too send 3 runs, + we have a different robot i believe it’s the original spike, robot. But great vid. ;))

I thibk there is a dropping mechanism which drops the propeler blade once it reaches its destination. But I am also curious on the rest.

Our turbine attachment has a lever built onto it. When the robot pushes the attachment through the turbine holder, it triggers the lever which turns and drops the large delivery.

The chicken is worth 10 points if it's in the same circle it started in at the end of the match.

We don't gain 10 points if the chicken is out of the circle. We modified our run which allows us to keep the chicken in the circle. We will post our updated run shortly!

according to page 10 of the robot game rule book it states that the containers will not always be in the same spot and that there is a bit of randomness to where it starts I recommend you re-read that section

Yes, we are aware of the random placement of the cargo. We created 3 different runs made for each scenario.
