I think that Marlon and Gaelle's relationship was very intimate both physically and emotionally. He seemed very hurt by her betrayal, he told her alot of secrets ( like the daughter thing). I have been there before with good girlfriend betrayal & the way I freed myself from fear of making new friends again was saying I forgive you and I forgive myself in this situation. I surrender it all to God (or whoever you pray to). There are good women still around for fellowship, just it is on us to have appropriate boundaries and be ruthless about cutting people out like Gaelle if they cross them. It doesn't matter their relationship to you either. Gaelle needs God and to repent her sins against her sister, because that misery is killing her inside out. Well it appears to me that Flo was likely the prettier and more "performative" one. I wouldn't be surprised if she wanted to be a singer from a young age and I bet the parents encouraged it. So Flo had all the attention and maybe they even put money into her for her career. While Gaelle is the less attractive, not as showy talented one. Now if she had been encouraged in her own gifts then they might have been okay. Look at Cardi and Hennessy.
