the song you were thinking of is work it by missy elliott which they sampled in "fly girl" (they took the part in work it where missy says "if you a fly girl, get your nails done get a pedciucre get your hair did" & made an entire song around that) & even got missy's cosign on the song + got her to feature on the song & (see: fly girl studio version or even the music video) where she even kinda continues what she raps about in the original work it (ex: the halle berry line)
