Very cool. The artwork reminds of the 70's PBS logo.

Duuuude this is perfect! Filters have never been something I've really considered heavily for the kind of music I make, but you touched on so many cool ways to apply it, love it

It's such a great buddy to Polymoon, especially in stereo. The movement you can create is unreal

Brilliant to add LFO. Every fuzz has been made endlessly by all companies. How many variations of fuzz, OD, Flanger, etc. can there be? We’re getting bored of the same thing, repackaged with some singular addition to an overly dry-humped tone. Filter pedals that shape tones like this pedal is tapping into The New Way. Bloody brilliant. Thank God it’s not another dirt pedal, Lofi delay, etc. Gorgeous pedal, mates. Sounds amazing.

Incredible demonstration of how to use Float musically in a variety of different settings! Absolutely adore how it’s sounds with the Sub Fatty & Drumtracks. The hardest decision I could see about this pedal (similar to Screen Violence) is whether it should live on my board or on my desk! Fantastic job!

Thanks so much! Yes I agree, it’s a real all rounder

I haven't put it on my board yet until I master the controls and find some sounds I could use in a set.

I have nothing bad to say about float or gazing set. Still use them everyday pretty much

@@TUNNELOFREVERB wow that’s awesome to hear and really cool feedback as it’s always better to hear from people who’ve lived with pickups for a while tbh so thank you for that!
@TUNNELOFREVERB Жыл бұрын
@@IanNorsworthy I wouldnt ever remove those pickups from that guitar honestly. I also put a custom set of RS in another JM build. I used a Galaxy Humbucker and the neck pickup from the gazing set. Its in some of my more recent videos with an aluminium neck

@@TUNNELOFREVERB oh awesome I’ll check that out! And thank you for that- that’s quite the recommendation! I was definitely leaning that way anyway but seems they are really worth a go so I’ll likely do that soon! thank you!!

Nice demo! Maybe the best one out there. I like the idea of this filter, but it seems to me like the resonant peaks are very sharp? Maybe folks just tend to have the resonance and sensitivity too high? And play heavy-handedly, I think. A lot of demos seem to be self-oscillating or on the verge of it the whole time, and the LFOs are really intense. I think you did a good job of avoiding that. I like the more subtle usage on the Rhodes. Would like to see a demo of this on a bright digital synth. Thinking about this to tame some Digitone patches and bring some warmth and movement in.

Thanks so much! The resonance is quite sharp and fairly sensitive. There’s definitely scope there but with quite small control changes. I tried to show the pedal in its more controlled tame style aswell as the aggressive fast and hard settings! It can do wonderful slow LFOs. I have used this recently on a MicroKorg on a recording session and it tamed some of the very bright stuff wonderfully. Glad you enjoyed the video!
