As a guitarist who got way into synths over the pandemic (like many of us stuck at home trying to make music solo) this is really really appealing to me, cause I actually understand how these controls work now (But Dan is also explaining it really well!).

This replaces a bunch of modular synth filters/LFOs/amp modules that I was using. Pretty easy user interface. Arturia makes something based on Tom Oberheim's SEM filters that does many of the same things., but you need two for stereo. They are cheap.

whoah, awesome - am i correct to think you can bascially turn this into a harmonic tremolo by syncing them and setting one to HP and the other to LP? i guess you can’t sync it to time with a click input, you need to go by feel with an expression pedal?
@oldbloodnoise2 жыл бұрын
yep, that's effectively how that would work!

I starting watching this as I love seeing you explain your pedals and keep on getting blown away by the design. Having a modular synth did not think I would want one but it’s now on my list just behind a few of your other pedals. I wonder how the envelope reacts to synths?

I love this video. One thing that I still don't understand (maybe I missed it) - Can I run a stereo signal into the Float and add both sides of the filter and have a stereo signal come out the other end? I'd love to add both lowpass and highpass filters that are affected by the LFOs, but to retain the stereo sound throughout the processing. Many thanks

Absolutely wonderful pedal for experimenting and sound design, terrible for using in different ways during a live gig! We need presets and MIDI control!!! :D And with the presets, a way of storing and restoring them so you can reload favourites for different songs/gigs. Otherwise, I'm totally in love with this pedal and if I had the money, I'd add it to my Mondegreen and my Minim. Thank you!
