Had this done 5 weeks ago My next day vision was like yours little blurry That was because of the dilation of the eye from the surgery After 4 days it was as good as normal I only needed 2 drops, not the pressure drops Good job

Pretty remarkable your doing well. What are the stitches for. I am to have this operation and there was no mention of stitches?
@vitrectomyforfloaters-pati59636 ай бұрын
The doctor chose to stich the holes for ensuring no leaks. His choice, not mine. He took one stick out after few days, and another one disolved over time. Perhaps the needles moved a bit and the holes got larger during surgery...but i do not really know

amazing! your eye is not bleeding. I've seen a few FOV "after" videos and patient's eyes are very irritated (redness) for days and sometimes their eyes show signs of bleeding. Does it depend on the gauge doctors use? why wouldn't doctors use the tinniest one on every patient? I'm happy for you.
@vitrectomyforfloaters-pati59633 жыл бұрын
My doctor chose to do 2 sutures...maybe that is why less bleeding. He used a 25 gauge

Hey! Good video! Very informative. Just quick quick question: are you nearsighted by the way? If you are, how strong is your prescription? I wish you a safe recovery, man!

Hi. I am not nearsighted. I have a pretty good eyesight generally speaking, ignoring the floaters.

Thanks for this. I am considering Vitrectomy to treat my PVD floaters (large cloudy area). I notice your right pupil is much larger than the left. I presume this is an effect of dilating drops? How is it now?
@vitrectomyforfloaters-pati5963 Жыл бұрын
Yes..large pupil is a result of dilation. All good now after more than 2 years. No side effects...only aging.

@@vitrectomyforfloaters-pati5963 Hello Pati, how are you, im suffering for floaters on one eye but I did not have a PVD. I remember you said in one video that you chose the induced PVD option. That means that you didnt have a PVD already? And also, I didnt hear how much did it cost you, If you can tell me please :(

I have the same, PVD that resulted in a tear that had laser tx and I'm left with jelly floating around in my eye which is hard to tolerate I have a vitrectomy booked end of the month and doc told me I will need a bubble placed

My floaters were of all types. Dots, strings,clouds.... all gone now from my right eye. Left eye still has some , but now they do not bother me. The right eye being clear...compensates

Had my vitreoctomy surgery yesterday, took my eye patch off today, I've got 100% opaque blurred vision in it and it has not improved all day, sort of concerned as I wasn't given any aftercare or guidelines on what to expect, also my eye is so much more bloodshot than yours, ive had the pvd induced surgery
