What was the first thing you started fishing for? For me, it was the dirty ol' channel catfish.. After catching my BIGGEST FLATHEAD EVER, a couple failed flathead trips, I decided.. It was time to chase their dumber, uglier, angrier cousins. For-Dan and I set out on his lil' dingy in hopes of maybe catching a few on bob bobs. Whelp, we got a hell of a lot more than we bargained for. PAAA POWWW!!!

In my 66 years of fishing, I have seen this happen many, many times. Where one fisherman literally gets all the bites. The easy answer is something on Jordan's hands was repelling the fish. When this happens again have the "cursed" fisherman remove all of his baitsand have the sucessfulperson rebait for him. It works every time and usually after catching a few fish the slime from the caught fish will remove the offensive smell and he can then and he can bait his own lines again.

That cinematic mode is pretty cool and you can even fine tune the focus settings in “edit” You can soften the focus and even change where its focused throughout the vid. BEST VIDEO you've posted in a long time! Many labor days ago, I jumped off a dock and looked back underneath it and saw a school of channel cats. It was a lot, probably like the school you were fishing, in the video. I only caught one, but I hadn't brought a rod down, nor had I any bait at hand. By the time I reeled in an 8 pounder, about a dozen kids were swimming off the dock and the school left. I'd never seen anything like it before nor after. A lot of big cats.

At around 14:00 when you had it set the moment your bait hit bottom, reminds me of a trip I took to the Chesapeake Bay with a friend of mine. Friend of friend's dad was a big surf fisherman, came with all the serious gear for the job. I hadn't thought to bring any of my gear with me for the week, so I took a walk to the marina shop and had exactly enough cash in my pocket for a rod/reel combo the brand of which I'd never heard of, a spool of 15 lb test monofilament line, 1 pack of hooks not big enough for the kind of fishing I was doing, and a single 8oz sinker. Get back to the beach, friend of friend's dad is all set up, a pair of monster surf rods each cast further out than how much line I had on my spool. He's been at it for about half an hour by the time I'm all rigged and good to go, all he's gotten so far is nibbles from the ole blue crabs. He gives me the tail of a cut mackerel he caught earlier in the day, I cast barely out past the jetty. Bait hits bottom and the rod doubles over, whatever it is is absolutely ripping drag. 45 minute fight later and I land a 40 lb cownose ray. I'll remember that day clear as crystal for the rest of my life. Love your videos man keep doing what you're doing!

Awesome day for catching a bunch of channel rats for sure!!! You should get one of those scales from whisker seekers!! They are orange and have two handles that flip out so they you can get a better hold on for bigger fish and if I can remember right they will go up over a hundred lbs!! I’ve had mine for like 10 years or longer and I’ve never had issues with mine and I definitely love it!! I think they are under 50.00$ also but they might have went up after having mine for so long!! I’ve definitely weighed a bunch of fish with mine over the years also!!! Definitely give them a try and I bet that you will love it for sure!!!!
