Amazing. This is the long lost, ancient Chinese art of floating in water that used to be taught in swim schools to children. Only a select few who could afford $20 a lesson could learn to focus their energy and float in water this way. This woman needs a new teacher though. She spent her whole life to learn something i could do by the time i was eight or so. I guess the Monks of the YMCA don't have a temple in Thailand. I was not explaining anything. You asked if i did it without paddling and I answered that the idea of the game (when I was a kid) was to remain very still (thus letting you know that it was a requirement NOT to paddle). I am not here to provide a tutorial; once again, I said I haven't tried this as an adult. Just my opinion that there is nothing supernatural about this and there are no tricks, nor salt water involved since I remember doing it as a child in a regular pool.

Important (this technic)! If you are alone, in a lake or pond (when there is no wind). Close the eyes, observe sensations, let it happen, observe only the breath, the air inside the body & the connection (air) outside the body, after a while (noise nature), don't react at all ! Mind cooling, peace comes (calm&quiet in mind). Practicing ! If winter or summer...It's worth it. If the sun shines..your body..(eyes-closed!).. slews automatically, to face to the warming sun, without doing something.
@DavisStillson12 жыл бұрын
Actually what she has done is learned to control her breathing so that she keeps her lungs inflated fully and you will also notice that she is overweight. Fat is lighter that water and it floats to the top of fresh water, any water for that matter. As to the clothing being heavy, well under water the clothing is not extra weight because once wet, it weighs no more than the water. Concrete will float is there is adequate displacement surface area.

"From there it's just moving the arms and legs in a way that keeps their already floating body up higher rather than push it down." That's what I mean by the last sentence for those of you who say, "well then how is she staying up without moving her arms or legs." Really it's quite a remarkable experience in a still pool because almost EVERYONE thinks that they will sink. Just take a quick breath and fill your lungs again and you will bob up and down a little but won't sink!
