facts, how should the ufc fighter have known about the techniques in kong- fu
@EdoBarla3 ай бұрын
that's just kinda stupid
@jackiechou19162 ай бұрын
Yes "Kung Fu Master" should not be in the ring in the first place because it's against the philosophy of Shaolin Kung Fu; Kung Fu was meant to save ones life when needed, not used to win competition trophy. The highest masters would be humble and inconspicuous. I do know people who went to Shaolin Temple to train from USA. It's very difficult life on top of training. Think about no hot water shower at 4 am when it's very cold or not being able to shower often.
@zixinxia1948 күн бұрын
Actually because most kongfu required having weapons. Examples, there are 2 primary spear schools in China, one is Zhao schools which not only required a spear, but it's also horses back spear. The other spear school is yue school, which is an infentry technique. On competition yue school will aways win, as there are no fighting rings that provide horse.

@scottgavenman61197 ай бұрын
Yes. Karate teaches focus punch and kicks. If you move to the side and a bit forward, they have to stop and re-focus causing balance issues. Ali understood this as well and early on was always moving side to side for that reason.

Watch the shaolin master's punch to the body, hitting the karate master on the sciatic nerve point. The guy then tries to kick straight after but falls on his own. The next shaolin fighter kicks his opponent in the same place causing pain, weakness, numbness, or tingling in the leg. Down he goes. This is very dangerous as constant strikes on these and other pressure points can cause permanent damage to the receiver of the strike. I've trained in various martial arts for 30 years including learning acupressure and I would never use it in an MMA or similar competition. You don't even need to punch your opponent. A core power strike with your finger would have the same result. So, I don't want the responsibility of causing permanent injury to someone or myself.
