Floating Focused Beachhead Anchor System

Corrections: A regular VORTEX leg pin was used instead of the longer AZORP pin... a slight overlook on my part. Sorry.
"Marginal" = You can't trust the anchor on its own to safely support the anticipated forces of your system.
"Substantial" = You can safely operate a working line system from the anchor, but not a belay system (because the belay has potential for significantly higher impact forces).
"Bombproof" = You can safely operate a belay system from the anchor in addition to a main working line system.

@@Propeller_Head copy, I thought so. I was just running the numbers on CMC 6 mm prusik cord. 1796 mbs. If you doubled or tripled it and had 3 legs, that would work too, wouldn’t it?

So I'd de-rate the one strand that had the terminal knot by 50% then add in the full tensile strength of the remaining two strands & that gives you about 4,500 lbf or 20 kN MBS.... So apply a 10:1 SSSF to that and you get 450 lbf (2 kN) or your classic 2-person rescue load..... Good to go!
