Eagle is currently making the best boxes/inserts around.. Everyone should follow them They're putting the clear cover over the insert to keep everything there, putting the correct sized box to fit after getting rid of the punch out sheets, They included some replacement dice for the messed up dice i thought, at least for the KS version they did.

The first time I played this game we played the entire game not knowing the d6 had negative values. i didn't even see that spot in the rule book, it wasn't until i went in the forums several weeks later that i discovered that the d6 is a negative value.

Try it again with a simple house rule, each player rolling their initial die at the beginning. That way you know the total at the beginning and can be more strategic with your meeple placement. Changed the game from a trade pile game to a keeper

taegukki or maybe everybody rolls his die when he places it on the die pool, so you get more and more information and at the end of round 1 you know how much the total is

I see why it doesn't work for you and why it is still fun for Tom (because of chaos:)). For me it reminds me a bit Citadels, when you try to plan and then get screwed by other player actions. Hate that, so this game is not for me either :)
