Oh my god mate you have to see this dude live. It was literally mind blowing, the type of live music your on about is exactly the type of thing he does. I saw him at Warehouse project in Manchester around a month ago and it was insane. Mixing in old school mo town with jazz and funk whilst keeping it at a house tempo with a house beat throughout to set, it was so incredible i didnt even know it was possible to create such original music.

My god.... all that jazzy combo organ sounding stuff towards the end..... So unbelievably forward thinking. I'm picturing walking into some new age underground jazz basement in the year 2025 and a couple dudes are banging out incredibly organic, fluid and uniquely "50's/60's jazz" music exactly like this with strange looking illuminated midi controllers :P

If anybody here knows a thing or two about ambient house then they will recognize that this sounds a lot like 'Tha' by Aphex Twin, which was made in 1990. not taking anything away from this track though it is really classy. It does prove how pioneering sounds still sound fresh today even though they were created over 20 years ago..
