The rabbit on screen is Brer rabbit, a rabbit who although not strong gets what he wants by his trickster ways. This emcee of the flobots name is Brer Rabbit. thats the connection between that picture and this song. Now enjoy the music

The song, I believe, is about how prophesy is self fullfilling. That is why he ignores the 2012 theory. it's a message to think positvely.
