Especially since Monty is Campbells style, that being said Gibbs will increase his workload so Monty probably won’t have a comparable workload as last year, at least at the goaline

I’m in a keeper league, 1 keeper this year two next. I wanted to have Gibbs and then take Marvin Harrison jr to pair for next season. But now with the injury should I take AJ brown or Garret Wilson? I think I’m still gonna grab Marvin Harrison for next year keeper.

I have 27% Montgomery ownership, 6% Gibbs. I never thought Gibbs' ADP was logical in a 50/50 split backfield

its not 50/50 - look at end of last year. plus pass game involvement . He literally finished top 8 with barely playing beginning of year

@@brandonanderson5842 They literally touched the ball an equal amount of times last season, and Monty missed 4 games. Monty outcarried Gibbs by 36, while Gibbs had 36 more catches. Gibbs had a total of less than 100 more yards than Monty with 4 more games. You do you, but I'll take the value of a 6th round pick over a 1-2 turn pick if they have similar results.

@@mikeroyce8389 catches are much more valuable than carries lol. Also, if you watched, they eased gibbs in and he really didnt play a ton of snaps until halfway through the season and he played a ton more in the redzone towards the end of last season. Gibbs also missed 2 games due to injury. I am a lions fan so I paid a ton of attention. I am not saying Monty sucks, and where he is going in drafts is fair. He will still have a solid year but is much more touchdown dependent and Gibbs will be the Rb1 this year. I would take both of them where they are going in drafts.

I am going to add to the fact that gibbs finished RB8 in fantasy ppg. Where did monty end up?

@brandonanderson5842 Monty finished 17th, with an average of 1.3 fewer points per game compared to Gibbs. If you want to spend 1st round draft capital compared to 5th or 6th round capital for an extra 1.3 points per week... I don't know what to tell you, my guy. You do you. And if you think Gibbs will finish as THE RB1 in 2024, you are fooling yourself. I'd take Pacheco straight up over Gibbs, especially with Gibbs starring the season with a lower leg injury.
