She advocated how their different voices added to the group and got the company to change vocal coaches because the one they started with was coaching them to have similar styles and similar to other girl groups. Soyeon only approved of vocal coaches who worked on improving their voices while maintaining their individual voices.

(G)-Idle was my intro to k-pop because of Pop Stars. You should really watch some behind the scenes stuff, these girls are chaos queens. They are also the most daring k-pop group at the moment, breaking boundaries and stereotypes like no one else (for conservative Korean standards). Helps that they are the only thing their company (Cube) has going for them, so the company has no choice but to let them do whatever they want.

Someone already wrote it, but I'll say it too. There was a sixth contestant, Seo Soojin. There was a big scandal that turned out to be a mistake, and she was eventually kicked out (if you're interested, there's a lot of information about it on the internet). Even though she is no longer a member of the group, many people think that (G)I-DLE often make references to her. She also played a very important role in the band, you'll understand that, she's great. Now she has made her solo debut, but she will be remembered as "that Soojin" by many people. (You should really pay attention to her!!!)

My two favorite songs/MVs of theirs are probably their "Queendom" performance of "Lion", which first made me a fan, and "Hwaa", which is so emotive and beautiful. Most any of the "Un-Helpful" Guides would probably work, but my favorite guide is still "The Rise of (G)-I-DLE", though it's fairly long. BTW, the songs "Hann (Alone)", "Hann (Alone in Winter)" and "Hwaa" were written as a trilogy of songs, which was why they were presented here together, telling the story of a break-up, despair, and eventual recovery of the singer. I-DLE also perform the songs, "POP/STARS", "The Baddest" and "More" in concert recently, because they *are* K/DA. You're in for an enjoyable deep-dive in the days ahead. =)

You need to know that they self-compose and write 90% of their discography (80% Soyeon the leader/rapper) and every comeback is decided and conceived by them (again mostly Soyeon) they come up with the theme, music, lyrics, and influence a lot of the visuals choreo etc. They are literal QUEENS you were right about that lol! I would prefer if you went in order of release! Starting with their debut working your way to the newest.. it's worth knowing they had another member who unfortunately had to leave the group. Gidle went through a difficult period when they lost the most popular member (Soojin) and after that the changed a little bit since they almost disbanded bc of that (she was fausly accused of bullying by some actress that after her departure even said she didn't know her at all) and started producing really bold songs like Tomboy (i trully reccomend the whole album I never die), Nxde, Queencard, I want that and now Super Lady. You should watch now the MV of each song, from Latata to Queencard just like the arrangement on this video. They’re the concept queens coz all of their songs are different concepts but with their own Gidle Genre 🤭 and each has a strong message. You might get confused while watching their previous MV coz one member left the group before TOMBOY Comeback. I think to general non-fans, gidle is popular for the positive messages in their songs. It felt crazy to me how they are not more well-known for their songs repertoire. They have made songs from many different music genres. Edit: the song that you love at ~6minutes mark is called Hann (Alone in Winter). The song before that called Hann (Alone). Both have the same Hangeul (Korean) character but different Hanja character in bracket. Hann was inspired from this poem called ‘Azaleas’ by Kim Sowol, best described as resentment, although it was shown in different flavours by both songs.

You should react to Lee Mujin Service.... Its basically a live singing show....they go to that show as solo....So you can see different episodes.... Minnie has been on that show 3 times. Miyeon, Yuqi, and Soyeon each once... They sing their own songs and do wonderful covers which showcase their vocal ability....You should definitely check that out ...

popstars is not technically an all (g)i-dle song, but two of the (g)i-dle members, soyeon and miyeon, are part of k/da and have their respective league of legends characters in the music video. the other half of k/da group singing popstars is madison beer, as you said, and jaira burns :)

Bro, I saw them in Berlin last year, they actually come quite a lot to Germany, this was their 3rd or 4th time. Last year, their Tour had 2 days in the Verty Music Hall, next to the Mercedes Benz Arena. Both dates sold out. Nothing is confirmed, but if they do another World Tour this year, you can definitely count on at least 1 date in Germany.

The middle one is the leader as well as the producer. Not like others they produce their own musics. They didn't given a vocal training because of losing their original voice tones that's different from each other and it also a idea of the group's leader. If I have to pick a girl group after BTS I would definitely pick them.Their all songs are good. Unique taste.❤

If you want a REALLY GOOD show: G-idle Lion live on Queendom. The first time the song was ever performed live (Written within the week of the competition and by Soyeon) it's better than the MV that came later. Their other queendom stages are worth checking out too but might be some pausing etc required due to copyright. The magic of Idle, if a song doesn't feel like a bop or you're not that into it at first listen, you hear it a few more times and you're addicted to it. Yuqi (The one with the energy you like) has a few good singles, one about a month old that are worth checking out. Soyeon (Rapper) has a few singles worth checking out, as well as her pre-idle stuff especially unpretty rapstar for some rap battles.
