As well, DR just debuted a new soloist, and he has gained a small but dedicated fandom in Korea. The album sales are low, but I truly, truly believe DR does not stock enough albums to meet demand because fans say all the time that the album is sold out when they try to buy it.

In the context that it is being used here (at least how I intended to use it - cannot speak for anyone else), it is refering to her general nationality, not her "country." If you are in a country from the continent of Africa, you are African. Much like if you a born in America, you are "American", although only the US really prefers that distinction (that technically can include Gabi, btw, being South American). Most casual fans know that she is Senegalese, raised in Belgium.

A mini intro to blackswan: blackswan is a 4 member kpop global girl group under dr music entertainment(all members have different nationalities but they sing in Korean and are signed to a Korean company, they went through the kpop trainee system and promote in Korea, this makes them a kpop group despite not having any Korean members). They debuted in 2020 with a different lineup, and 3 out of 4 members contracts expired and they didn’t renew them only Fatou🇧🇪🇸🇳 resigned (the current leader of the group). 3 new members were added by the company to complete the current and final lineup (Gabi🇧🇷🇩🇪, Nvee🇺🇸 and sriya 🇮🇳). These girls are hilarious, their content is super entertaining and their music is great. Their fans are called "Lumina" • Gabi is the visual, she's half brazilian and half german. She can speak portuguese, english and korean. Not sure how much german she knows, cause she grew up in Brazil, so her nationality is brazilian. She's the third brazilian Idol and second brazilian k-pop Idol. Before her there was Leia (ex member of Blackswan). • Nvee is the main vocalist, she's american. She can speak english and korean. • Srya is the main dancer and maknae, she's from India. Blackswan is a KPop group with no korean members. The members are Fatou (blue hair), NVee (blond hair), Gabi (red hair) and Sriya (black hair). They are from DR Music Entertainment! They’re a small company but the production value for this music video is amazing! They debuted in 2020, with 5 members. NVee, Gabi, Sriya were not in the original lineup, but Fatou was, she’s been there since the beginning of the group. The other 4 members left, and in 2022 NVee, Gabi, and Sriya joined the group and in 2023 they came out with their single “Karma”. Fatou was born in Senegal, and went to school in Belgium. She’s the leader and main rapper of the group! Next is NVee from the USA, who is the main vocalist. Gabi is Brazilian, and she is the visual of the group! Lastly is Sriya who is Indian, and is the maknae and main dancer of the group! They are extremely talented and this comeback shows that! I can’t recommend listening to the whole EP enough, it is so amazing and they really did amazing with this comeback!
