@@Boonies first of all I am not mad, I have no reason to be mad although you should be mad at your lack of knowledge or basic understanding... Second are blackswan even 5th gen? They debuted a long time ago and just becouse they swapped their members that dosent make it a re-debut. So tbh they are more 4th gen then 5th gen. But let me play along, for your sake. A 5th gen rapper thats better is Sunhye from young posse and also Chloe from badvillain. For vocalists I would definitely have to say Rami from babymonster and Belle from kiss of life. And that's only 5th gen. In your comment you said top 3 in all of kpop??? Like lets be so fr. The fact you are saying that when vocalist like Ailee Hyolyn and Wendy exist is crazy. Nvee is amazing but she has alot to learn before she can match those powerhouses. Tbh singing has been a good way for most asthma patients to increase lung capacity and control breathing so we dont lose breath easily. Ever since i was diagnosed as asthmatic, ive been training myself to sing for that same reason and if i dont sing for a long time i would have to restart again in some way

Yes Finally reacting to Blackswan!! Their Last album "That Karma" was great too, after 2 of their older members left, Sriya, Gabi and NVee(en-Vee) joined to form the new team with Fatou.. Especially the title track "Karma" and the other song "Cat and Mouse" from that album is great too.. both have MVs.. That’s so interesting what you said about the singing training. Whenever I belt a note I lean back and that’s what I was taught because I was in choir growing up and took vocal lessons, so it was very much classical training. We were taught to to pull the breath from deep within the abdomen and let it emanate from there and not from the chest. never noticed that they lean forward like that. Fascinating!

I have a background in training in Classical singing too and have Asthma like Nvee. 😆 Interesting. I appreciate her hard work for keeping that diaphragm anchored vocal technique even though pop singing is a different style. It'll keep her vocal chords from ripping to shreds that a lot of singers do with poor techniques singing from their throats more than anchoring from the diaphragm for support. Extra props for her consistency with all the lives they've done. Singing and dancing while having asthma but she has been extremely strong and consistent doing the Roll Up promotions. As a singer and dancer suffering the same, i know how much work she must have put in to work on that. Bravo. I love this group as the 4 they are. I actually used to listen to Rania back in the day and had NO idea till researching it that they were the group changed name and members. I hope the group stays this quartet as they are all stunning, talented and make a perfect fit. I don't like how the company has dealt with them being a repackaged Rania, they should've been a group debuted as 4 and on their own right. People are fighting (as usual) comparing idols and singers. There is a difference, if you ever look at Kpop vocal analysis (still there but doesn't update its artist base anymore), they differentiate the singers and idols as they aren't trained, packaged and designed in the same way purposely. As far as Kpop idols on the whole (excluding singer singers like IU, Ailee are a couple of examples), regarding technique etc. (even though Dana was my bias), Lina from CSJH the Grace who if you don't know were one of the most talented female quartets in Kpop but were poorly managed by SM and poor debut timing and marketing are now disbanded which i really would cry if that were to happen to this Blackswan. Back to the point, out of female IDOL singers Lina (2nd gen) 's detailed vocal analysis and techniques (very good site to learn about vocal analysis and singing techniques btw) had Lina the Grace as the top tier for female Kpop Idols. Blackswan hasn't released enough discography with this line up to make comparisons of who is the best although i prefer to enjoy the music as the girls of all the groups want us to instead of fans ripping each other's throats out. The extreme hating fans bring shameful behaviour and associations to all their stan groups who would be disappointed at their behaviour. Just enjoy the music!

Y'all should definitely go more into a BLACKSWAN rabbit hole, their story is very interesting! They have an Apple TV+ documentary with Jessi and CRAVITY coming out on August 30th that talks more about their origin story as a group and the journey to where they are now. They're a very interesting group with a unique concept in Kpop. I also really recommend watching their performance stages, they have many stages for their song "Roll Up" and they recently performed one of their B-sides called "Double Down" which is one of their English songs!^^ love the reactions!!
