Flodesk Tutorial: How To Add An Inline Form In Showit & Wordpress Blog Posts

So you've decided it’s time to start building your email list, you’ve signed up for Flodesk and breezed through the easy as pie process of creating an opt-in form, then you’re hit with that final step. Embedding the form in your blog.
You probably looked at those embed codes and instantly felt that wave of ‘oh crap what do I do with this’ wash over you. But I’m here to reassure you that adding this form is no more than a few clicks and little copy and pasting, I promise!
In this video I'm going to walk you through how to actually embed your Flodesk Inline Form within your Showit website as well as how to add it within individual blog posts.

Hey Teri-Ann, I am so happy you are making Flodesk tutorials as I just joined and, let me say mildly, I am struggling lol! Have created a new form, clicked on three dots, but I don't get "Embed" option... What should I do?

Learning new software always takes time, don't stress you'll get there 🥰 Just double check that the form you've created is an inline form? If you've created a full page form then you won't see the embed option in the menu as these are a stand alone page and can't be embedded. If it is an inline form you definitely should see the embed option. If not, enter the form editor again and keep selecting the next or continue option until you get to the 'publish your form' page which will have the embed codes on it. Hope that helps! x

Thank you so much for making this! However, I've followed the steps and it's still not showing up in preview mode. Has anything changed since this was made? I can't seem to get help with this anywhere. UGH!

Nothing has changed as far as I am aware & my own inline forms still appear in the preview... Have you re-published your website within Showit once you've added the header code to your single post template?

@@adrianamaya6856 I'm on the basic blog plan also. I just checked again & my inline forms are still showing up in the Wordpress preview. Have you re-published your website within Showit once you've added the header code to your single post template?
