Phillip Glass was born in 1937 and as I write, he is 87. A composer who has certainly been famous in his lifetime, but probably ahead of his time. For an album that came out in 1982, this sounds very much in our own, present, 21st century time.

Imaginative interpretation of a work by GLASS. Percussive instruments could capture essence of work and maintain effortlessly the original's integrity. I imagine often rain drops, drizzling or hard driving, when listening to this composer's music. Easy to imagine trains speeding over tracks depending on the composition. Glass's work is so percussive I experience 4'33'' seconds after conclusion, as I did here; obviously, a great interpretation here.

I picture this song as following a single , falling dew drop, as it slowly joins up with other drops and streams of drops as it slides down a mountainside, becoming a torrent that settles into a placid lake.

Very nice indeed. You kept the timber with your use of the brass. You know electronic musicians have been saying interesting and complimentary things about P Glass and Steve Reich - another brilliant minimalist composer, for a while now :) In case anyone is interested there are multiple good performances of the hour-long "Music For 18 Musicians", Steve Reich's Opus Magnus, all over KZbin.
