Sorry for the wait everyone but as you can see from this video there was a TON of data I needed to collect before I fealt it would be fair to post a review for this aircraft. Also for your chance to win a brand new Blackout mini Hex look in the description above for the details.

Reaalllly REAAALLY good reviews, not the ordinary reviews about just the hardware itself, but you include flying building tip and gear choice :D great video :)

Very nice review! I liked the fact you measured facts with different batteries. Only thing I personally missed is the variation of tested props. To my opinion the gemfan 5x3 props are not suitable for 4S as they start to bend to much. Swapping to something like HQprop 5x4 will increase the performance and smoothness of the flight on high RPM's by really much! Another thing I discovered is that running the clean plate on the top improves the acro agility as well for gopro.
@FLoHIO11710 жыл бұрын
Hey Boris glad you liked it. I explained in the video a couple times that if ou want to run 4s you need to use carbon nylon or carbon fiber props for the same reasons you stated. As far as putting the go pro plate onto thats interesting. I personally don't ike flying with the go pro because its so heavy but good to know if I ever feel like flying with it :)
@ReubenHorner9 жыл бұрын
***** I know its been a while since you posted this comment but 5x4 is a lot more power and these machines can definitely take it, even a 5x4.5 will work so insanity can take place

I'll add, I rock the Turnigy 4S 2200 Mah and I comfortably fly about 9-10 mins with pretty aggressive Acro flying.

Great review there FLoHIO117, ya have to love the Quad-Nation we have built. These are a blast to fly and everyone should have at least one in their RC portfolio. Carbon fiber props are the only way to go, the cheap plastic ones are for the beginners. See you in the air. Wayne - PARCQR

Another great review! I have been telling people about you and your reviews for a while now word of mouth and I continue to do so and I will definitely donate to your cause cuz you're bringing the community very valuable information and saving us money by doing that for us so keep it up and I hope to win your raffle so I can show that little Ferrari off to everybody and make them drool
@FLoHIO11710 жыл бұрын
Lmao thanks man I appreciate every donation more than you know. I try to make reviews so that people can see them and have all there questions answered. When I was new into the hobby I always tried to find a good review but each one I felt was always missing so much. Most reviews Id find would be so fast and were like heres this product, its cool, buy it! Then I was still left with thousands of questions. If I can help a couple people with the videos then it was worth it :) Good luck to you in the raffle :)

Having flown the 3 cell and 4 cell versions, Ill add that the extra "pop" of 4 cell IS worth it over the three cell for emergency reserve of big time power jumps.

Great video Jeremiah. I always get a great idea of what to expect from the aircraft and components. I also had to climb quite the tree to get my carbon fiber 200qx out of a tree. I am happy you survived :) Good luck with your website.

F1 race car on a go-kart track. Ha! Ain't that the truth. I love flying the BO Spider Hex, but, like you said, it is not as easy to fly in those tight quarter spaces like the mini H. Personally, I like the extra weight the GoPro provided mounted on the bottom. For some odd reason (or maybe just my experience), it also made tuning with Naze32 much easier. Great video.
@FLoHIO11710 жыл бұрын
Thats funny because I thought it was way harder to tune the go pro version lol.

How do you find such great places to fly? Do you use throttle curve/expo?
@Dualecosse10 жыл бұрын
You say the unit is a little bit sensitive on the throttle without a go pro, maybe you could dial in a little bit of "exponential" on the throttle curve if your radio allows.
@FLoHIO11710 жыл бұрын
Mark Duncan Its only sensitive until you get use to it.

Do you sell these in BnF in the red/carbonfiber in 3S?! If so I'm interested in purchasing!
I seen that page however I'm not keen on buying another set of goggles transmitter and receiver again.. I figured you would sell possibly a BNF or a transmitter/reciever less version for the people who wanted to use there own hardware...
