In this new tutorial by flomotion you will learn how to use the BETA version of after effects to import 3D assets and objects with animation. To do so you need to have a glb or gltf file.
I will show you how to 3d track a camera, integrate 3d objects as well as how to use the Animation Option to animate it.
You will learn how to create a realsitic looking Jurassic World scene, with HDRI Lighting with the help of an environment light as well as how to create shadows with a shadow catcher.
I will also show you tips and tricks along the way and show you the best render settings for the advanced render engine. For the asset as well as for the shadow.

Hallo Boris, I need your help, if possible ^^ I discovered that for a same file, according it's complexity and weight, I may see the 3D object in AE. I did the 3D file myself and it is heavy one (1,4GB), if I export only one part as GLB file and import it in AE, it works. If I do the same for the whole piece, which is 500Mo as GLB file, I will see an empty box in AE. So I wonder how I can reduce the size and complexity of my model... thank you !

There is a bit of flickering going on in the T-Rex shadow. I wonder if some of the polygons of the TRex are letting light through intermittently. Perhaps it's a render settings issue (maybe the settings on the precomped TRex, since you did crank up the shadow settings within the precomp). Seeing if you found a solution, or if it's a limitation to the 3D built into AE?

Hi, I'm not able to see the shadows yet. After tracked the video, you created the camera and the solid, and this one was blue, but later, once you added the light and showed the solid, now this has a clear blue color with shadow, but that it is not my case, after add the light, my solid keep the same color and don't shows the shadow. Sir you don't have to do this much effort just to put the shadow. Just check the 3d on background layer and the shadow will come automatically.
