It seems that slowly, every good map creator fades into nothing, and its all because of the hate that the flood escape 2 community spews on creators. Back in 2020, the community was quite good, maps actually considered bad today were praised and given actual good support and suggestions, but throughout time it seems that that spark and experience has faded away into the darkness. I know sometimes I dont like map creators too, but over time I realized that the maps that are made are way better then anything I could ever make and that they put time and effort into them, and I try to refrain from saying bad things about creators, (which may lead to this scenario), but it seems like some people these days cannot grasp the thought of this, and its sad to see. I hope whatever you do in the future supports your actions, noetiess!

Dear noetiess, You’re absolutely amazing, every map you made was great. I could’ve stay glad if we were handling your career, trying to finish Scorched Singularity V2 and perhaps Venomous Supremacy Complex. But now that you left, you should know that almost everyone will drop their tears down about all of this sudden sadness. Because like, why would people message on CBG server about anything negative? Why wouldn’t they keep their sending hates on their own without testing your maps again to let you continue with your career on Flood Escape 2? However, all I can say is that this a community that was filled with chaos, and Community Wars on the latest periods. Colleagues and supporters exist in the FE2 community. I’m really glad you worked with me and the others on Die####### ######### and I appreciate. i just wanted to say throughout my entire map making career, you were probably my favorite person to work with. you always would help people with anything they asked for, and were always so kind about it too. i know if i needed help with anything i would first go to you and you would always respond, happy to help with anything. every time i would think about quitting a collab or stop production on a map, you were always there to push through and help me find motivation to continue. i gotta say some of your maps have literally inspired my map making career and are the reason i still do what i do. its truly sad to see a legend go, but i hope you can find something that you will actually enjoy. thanks again for everything. - west

It's very unfortunate how the community drove you to this decision. Even as a mostly tria creator, (not very active within the FE2 community) Seeing the exponential growth you had in creating over the past year or so was really impressive to witness. If you ever do something along the lines of this again, or even if not, be sure that you're having fun with it, and not like a living machine pumping out stuff, just for people to tear you down again and again. I'll remember you, and not by the stars.

I just don't get why people can't appreciate someone giving their efforts to create something beautiful for the community. As much as this sucks, the haters suffer a greater loss in the end. IMO, the FE2 community has just gotten really toxic lately toward creators, since the expectations towards what makes a good map has risen to impossible levels. You absolutely did the right thing leaving this community. Haters would never understand the effort and difficulty in making these (I barely made decent soundtracks and couldn’t even finish creating one map, so mega props to you), and your time and hard work deserves credit. It’s honestly sad seeing all this happen, since, imo, these community maps are really all FE2 has left going for it. Let’s face it, Flood Escape 2 is a dying/dead game. It might never hit 1k concurrent players again, there really isn’t anything new in the game (highlights barely count), and numbers are still shrinking. Creators like you were what kept this game going until now, and with the community pushing them away, we won’t have that either. Personally, as someone who also puts work into a different game, and as someone who has received criticism before, I just think “who the fuck are you? My mom?” It’s very easy to ignore negative comments. If you’re passionate about something, who cares what others think? But the pressure really can mount, and sadly, this community won’t get off your back. I wish you a better future o7

Only having you come to my attention with Cosmic War in 2024, every map you've made has pushed me, along with some other friends to try map making, Scorched Singularity was what I would say your best work, be proud of what you've made, don't let others tear you down, try your best to not stay focused on the negative stuff. The FE2 community is downright a mess, but your life matters, they took their decision, and now you took yours, go make another game with 0esun or some shit, play some fortnite or whatever, do what you love the most. The same creativity you put in your maps, put it into life. This is about you now, get some help if you need, (dab on the ha-), don't be afraid to talk about how you've felt to someone, it's best to write things down, how its made you feel, or just spill it out to someone else (don't take it out on em tho). Even the brightest of the stars will one day stop shinning, I'll miss you noetiess, a whole good part of the community will miss you, thank you for all the amazing maps you've made, fly high, but this isn't the end, there's so much that awaits you. *Free from the shackles, into the light, don't let hate give you a good tackle, always push forward in the fight.* also i ain't readin allat
