FLOOD IN CHUMOU; POOR DRAINAGE SYSTEM; WARD 6-7

On Saturday afternoon, an indecent downpour in Chumoukedima resulted in floods around several colonies in Chumoukedima. This calamity seems to be nothing new, as the affected people have been facing the same problem every year during the monsoon season. While interacting with NLTV, residents shared that their houses are already flooded. They guessed that the reason for the problem is due to 'No' proper drainage system.

Like other countries.....drainage must b constructed on underground basis......if drainage is constructed, the roads r lower than the drainage so the water dont flow in many places.....so it must b underground n plastered properli so that it will flow smooth ...just a suggestion😅

I think in place of drainage place many non locals make their house n given tax to landlord n landlord give them to stay for money So it should not be so much concern if it remains only paddy field or farm but see we nagas care about non nagas a lot give them food shelter n illegal immigrants r increasing day by day in snatching all our nagas job So think it nicely. Yeah there will be flood coz in place of nalla many non locals built their house n block all nalas then how can it not be flood it will happen they block all the nalas by built house n block all local residents also high time to think it nicely nagas many non locals coming and built their house so it happens just sharing my opinion not to always blame all councils chairman, gaonburas, department we public r all responsible we bring non locals to cultivate our farm n let them live built their house n requested council chairman, gaonbura to allow them to live n slowly our naga youths not getting any jobs n business n snatching all our jobs by non locals did we ever realise that Or not we just go on blaming our own government our own brothers n candidates really funny sometimes if I am wrong point out my wrong n comments viewers.
