Flooding, train derailment impacting northwest Iowa

Do you all want the truth!? AirNational Gaurd flew OVER Spencer, Iowa and did ONE rooftop rescue. Then left until the threat was lessened. Residents got in boats and rescued people and they're pets. When tried to cross the little sioux river authories told them that if they attempted any further, they'd be arrested and charged with interfering with official acts. The authorites and rescue workers would NOT get into the water. They did nothing!!! They knew this was coming they didn't even sound the sirens! Ok, I myself watched them sandbagging the bridge that connects the north and south side and SMU vans zipping up and down the alleys near the river AND THERE WAS NO WARNING AT ALL TO THE CITIZENS!!! City officials knew however, and they got theyre homes and family cleared out! That is the truth!!! -Spencer iowa resident.

I have seen this similar scenarios in past nothing new both in Climate, Economic, and or Political Environment. There are multiple factors that must be consider including the ones you have stated. Example: Mercury, Lead, Asbestos, Insecticides, Formaldehyde, Tobacco/Chemical additives and there is more that can be added to this list. All have denied the cause and effects in the beginning yes numbers used can be wrong on all side. How humanity adjust to these situation matters, This scenario is like a 2 mile long freight train traveling at 50 MPH it can not be stopped on a dime. Human Existence Depends on the All Nations & People Fairly & Honestly working together not taking advantage the other. Global Events, Environmental Change, Viruses both in Farm Animals, Farm Vegetables & Fruits. The best way is to be balanced, proportional, proper phasing in, proper phasing out, Education, and keep the public involved. BE HONEST!

Rail right a ways there are from the 1870's Iowa does not invest in safe modern rail. It's private and taxeed. Taxes are spent on airports and highways. The railroad it's self will have to pay to fix it. Not the 4 billon dollar DOT in Ames! They only build 6 and 8 lanes that kill small town businesses. Oh and of course airports for millionaire's private planes.

The State of Iowa is not responsible to maintain the trackage of Burlington Northern San Francisco company. Unless those trains are running on Union Pacific tracks and then UP is responsible. Unless somewhere in their contracts state that the cities or state they run through are responsible for maintaining the ground on either side.

@@toscatattertail9813 Yes a CIVIL WAR set up, that has caused half of the rail mileage to disappear. What kind of a business plan is that! Pay taxes to improve and maintain your competition! Then if you don't make it sell it all and rip it up! Ukraine would have lost the war in two days if the did that! What of the future ? Oh that's right future is only used for tax sucking airports, ports , and a overbuilt unsustainable 1st century road system. . This one reason Iowa sucks, and people are leaving as fast as they can! The only passenger train they have avoids all the population of the north! Sells out too.
