Three interesting things to have in mind: 1. Why would there be a statue of the king of the castle in the Hotel? 2. Could the game of Doors (Hotel, Backdoor, Mines) take place in Limbo? It is the easiest explanation of the liminal space that is the Hotel and Mines 3. The meaning behind the name “mischievous light”. Why didn’t they use “evil”, “treacherous” or “antagonistic”? The name mischievous implies that their actions are causing trouble in a playful manner. Maybe they do not see their actions as wrong and more of a distraction to not feel boredom

(Please read this since this took a long time of writing and is possibly the entire lore for doors) - Mischevious light is basically trying to set the king free from limbo but he needs to do evil things in order for that to happen. - curious light could be a key factor in bringing back the king because he could potentially be the most powerful since he's now back in the doors dimension. - and Guiding light needs the player to help set the king free from limbo but also stop mischevious light. My theory for the player: He suddenly enters the hotel and guiding light is guiding him to beat the game in order to stop mischevious light's evil plan. the player encounters Rooms and when he leaves Rooms he also sets curious light free and now he's back to the doors dimension. And Seek and mischevious light MIGHT actually be the same person.

Please read this because this might be the entire lore of doors and this took a while. Wait. So in the last video with the giggles and stuff, Figure eats gloombats... So doesnt that mean he can step on giggles? Well, he probably can, And if that is so, He could probably step on seeks goo and get infected himself... Because figure is made out of flesh and bones and as we see after someone dies to seek you turn into a piece of seek goo. Which must mean figure can get infected too. But if he is immune to that then if he steps on seek goo he could damage seek and destroy some of his goo. But according to mischevious light, Mischevious light might be somewhat like the guiding like and curious light but explains why you died. For example: You were caught by the figure... Suffering is the key to win... You were caught by the figure because you didnt crouch when he was near you... And the reason why i am controling someone who is called seek is because- But then he gets glitched before he can tell you why he is controlling seek. So that means that giggles also conect with figure and figure connects to gloombats... But what do gloombats connect to? Lights. Now lets get back to the screech theory. So i think the screech theory is true. Because if we slow down a clip of someone scaring screech away, Screech has black goo dripping down above his mouth but we can see white stuff under that goo dripping down... so i have a few theories about this: 1. if all of the celestials have/had a physical form and mischievous light really did trap the king in a limbo than what if the seek goop is actually mischievous lights true form 2. when we activate the modifiers in floor 1 then we can't go into "rooms", i think it's because by us activating modifiers we give mischievous light more access to the hotel 3. we only see curious light in hidden areas (the backdoor, rooms), i think it's because curious light likes to be isolated in secret places where it's hiding from danger (from mischievous light) 4. every time we die we talk to guiding light or curious light directly, and as we know they probably are stuck in the limbo as well so i think every time we die we actually might be somewhere near/in the limbo (because as we know the limbo is a place outside of reality)

Now we are all talking about the three angels and their separate lore, but what we haven't noticed yet is what they have in common. They emit the light of their own colour. Guiding Light emits blue light since it is a blue crescent moon, while curious light is a yellow star, which makes it emit yellow light. Now, in a sensical way, mischievous light should emit a red light since its colour is the red modifier symbol. BUT, I know this might be a stretch, but the only entity we see that emits a red light is Seek. We've seen Seek's power, "it" can use its ink to manipulate and control any creature, almost like transporting them into an endless limbo, which prevents the prey from returning to the fabric of reality. That could mean that the king is somehow infected by Seek. This is just a theory, so this might be wrong. But to put it in short, Seek is just a form of Mischievous Light, or maybe, just maybe, literally Mischevious Light. Edit: If all three of them are the three angles, then Mischevious Light should have a rift of its own. But who knows? Maybe separate levels will have Mischevious Light included whilst on completion, we will have the Mischevious Light rift unlocked. Or maybe this rift is separately for the monsters. Edit 2: To be honest, we don't really know the origin of the character we play or where it came from exactly. My theory is that Guiding Light was the one who put us in the limbo. With more floors introduced, the more we realise, we are the ones stuck in this limbo because of Guiding Light. And since Curious Light is more in touch with Mischevious Light as we've seen Curious Light mentioning Mischevious Light when she was naming the monsters in the Rooms and the Backdoor, Guiding Light may be using us as the key to free Curious Light from Mischevious Light, only to use Curious Light to get more information about where the king has been held by Mischevious Light. That explains the liminal space to the outside of The Castle and the unknowingly large space of The Hotel as well as The Mines. I feel like The Castle would probably give more clues about the king and where he is. With all this, I think Guiding Light isn't so much of a hero. Mischevious Light could probably be trapping the king only to save this dimension from Guiding Light, explaining the fact that Curious Light was in Mischevious Light's side in the first place. But we really don't know what both of Mischevious Light and Guiding Light's plans are as this, again, is just a theory. Also, a little Easter egg, when placing the three fuses in any generators, each fuse emits a light of the colour of each angel. The first fuse emits Guiding Light's light(blue), the second emitting Curious Light's light(yellow), and the last emitting Mischevious Light's light(red). Edit 3: With all of this said, it's not only Seek that contains the power of Mischevious Light(although he has most of Mischevious Light's power, so that doesn't reject my point of Seek being either a form, an embodiment or literally Mischevious Light), but we have actually seen a few others which possess some power of Mischevious Light. Those monsters are Figure and Grumbles/Queen Grumble. What proves my point of saying this? Well, upon using the crucifix on these monsters, the crucifix will get rejected from trying to get rid of the monster leading the crucifix to turn from a blue to a red colour, showing that the crucifix got rejected. But again, Seek definitely holds most of Mischievous Light's powers. Edit 4: This edit is fully going to revise on the fights that happened between the monsters previously and were still ongoing during our short stay in The Mines. One of them is the fight between Seek and the Grumbles, more appropriately, the Queen Grumble. Most likely, Seek and the Queen Grumble were fighting for who knows what. Maybe it could be to own some part of The Mines as their territory? Who knows. Anyways, the result of the fight was Queen Grumble's victory, leading to her being awarded with the role of a queen and that big scar on her head. As revenge, Seek uses its ink to control the Giggles to prevent more Giggles to mature into Grumbles while trying to build his own army. With that, Screeches were born. One thing that not many would notice is that Seek doesn't enter the Grumbles' nest as either Queen Grumble won the fight, leading Seek to never interfering anyone in the nest or his powers weaken allowing Guiding Light to stop him from entering. That all changes when we meet at the entrance to The Castle as once again, Queen Grumble tries to attack us, but Seek stops Queen Grumble in time, leading to Queen Grumble getting infected by Seek. Seek can do this as it only states in their deal that he doesn't interfere anyone IN the nest, and his powers also don't weaken. The second one isn't so much of a fight. Rather, it's what the monster is designed to do. This is the fight between Figure and the Gloombats. Figure acts like a Venus flytrap to the Gloombats as Figure's mouth emits a light, attracting Gloombats to enter its mouth, resulting in getting eaten by Figure. Edit 5: If any of my theories are wrong, feel free to go crazy with the replies.

those are actually not bad but if halt is trying to stop us from reaching the end because we would die then why would he allow the player to go north and escape if he truly wants to stop us from dying? i think for me, halt is actually chasing the player but is roughly slow. but it uses teleportation infront of you as an advantage and i think when the screen displays to turn around its just a hint and um... window is white. but if we had a sword, armor, shield etc given by guiding light to kill seek i dont think it would be enough because seek doesnt actually have a form but just chooses the form best to kill you so even if we stab seek he might just regenerate or something. also curious light will hardly ever help us, he doesn't even guide us, the only helpful thing i find abt curious light is the starlight stuff shenanigans an army against seek wouldn't be bad, but cmon. just look at figure against a bunch of gloombats but overall i definitely think that these theories are good and i hope i dont offend you by this sorta friendly criticism. they're pretty cool and would be mind blowing if we know its true
