After her first band 'After Forever' disbanded in 2009 which upset Floor very much and where she started singing with in 1997 at the age of 16, she started her own band 'Revamp' from scratch. Many of the songs of them deal with (bad) relationships and could be seen as a reaction to the break up of 'After Forever'. As Floor managed 'Revamp' much on her own and did a lot of vocal coaching on the side also, she had to pay the price and got a severe burnout 2011/2012. She had just recovered when end of september 2012 the call came from Nightwish to fill in for Annette at their world tour. She had only 48 hours to prepare for the Seattle show on October 1st. This would be only for the North- and South American tour at first. But as the situation with Annette became irrepairable she toured with them all the way until becoming a permanent member in 2013 after the iconic Wacken Festival. Floor did perform with 'Revamp' for a couple of years also, but it became clear she could not combine both for much longer, so 'Revamp' disbanded in 2016.
