I was sad and burnt out after dealing with 9 yrs of chronic illness related to my brain after I had menengitis in 2012. I had no feelings and I didn´t cry once in those 9 yrs. 11 months ago I heard you sing for the first time and the floodgates opened. I never heard such beauty in my life. Everyday I listen to you sing and I have never felt so alive , happy and grateful despite my ongoing condition. I can´t stress enough how much impact you have on people like Pixiey and myself. I only found Nightwish and by extension Floor in 2016. I am taking my time hearing the other stuff too.

My ears must not have been working the first time I listened to this, for I thought it was just ok. Now, on subsequent listens, I love it! I love Floor's use of cries and distortion on it. Just enough, where needed, and tasteful. Floor never over does these vocal techniques. It's always about the song, not showing off what she can do.

We were all the way in the back of the venue when this was recorded. It was great evening in general (good food in Amsterdam and atmosphere during the show), but we did wish there was a large screen or something. I'm 42 years old as of now. I've been amazed by Floors voice since the early days with After Forever, and back then I was also a fan of Nightwish. I was also into doom metal back then like My Dying Bride, which I've learned isn't Floor's cup of tea. Anyway, what I wanted to say I listen to a lot of different music now, but I have never gotten tired of Nightwish, and I also started to appreciate popular bands like Pink and what not. Im just so happy that one of my favorite singers and one of my favorite band still is relevant and can make a living out of music. We are all getting older and times changes.
