Your story is so amazing to me. Really speechless!! So happy you pulled through. My dad had sepsis last year and was fighting for his life for 5 weeks... I was on the other side of the world but didn´t risk flying to him because I would have been stuck alone in a quarantine hotel for 2 weeks. The only thing that could help was listening to Nightwish.

@@lekalla Generally yes. But firstly Franz Lehár was from Austria-Hungary and regionally the difference is insane. Even today, I as a native speaker do not understand much when people from Swabia or certain parts of Saxony or Bavaria talk in their dialect. Vocabularies differ widely, sometimes even sentence structuring. Secondly the Merry Widow (from which Vilja comes) is from the 1860s. As a contemporary German speaker you always feel as if you should understand it. But you really don't.

Never heard this song. I listened to the original and suddenly it dawned on me. Singers all over the world are in danger because there is a possibility that your hit will want to be covered by Floor. I see only one way out - singers have to send 1 percent of their income to Floor, if only she does not want to do a cover. After all, as we see, her covers simply destroy the original. Mrs Jansen is amazing as always.

Then just select "Folge 1 Clueso". The The episode is divided into 4 parts that you can select under the video. Floor sings in the 4th one. No English subtitles available though.

Believe me, that will be the case for EVERY song that she will perform on this show. Clueso is, among the german vocalists in this show, by far the most known and skilled one, and i haven't heard of him at all until recently when he performed at a gamescom online show project that was organized by some gaming streamers during quarantine.

Cool how you light up this relatively unspectacular song. In the beginning with the handbrake on and one vocal cord tied behind your back, as it were, but at the end when you let fly, it's goosebump time. As a Dutchman living in Germany I feel very at home with this. Germans love nothing better than a Dutch accent in German, I can tell from experience. They should love this :)

Die Musik von Clueso kannte ich bisher nicht - bis auf das Lied, das Lotte gesungen hat; es ist nicht meine Musik -- mir scheint als würde es in der Musik mehr und mehr an guten und berührenden Melodien fehlen >> alles entwickelt sich in eine eher monotone Richtung (es ist nur mein Eindruck). Dass Floor SOOO gut deutsch spricht -- das hat mich umgehauen!!! Ich freue mich schon auf die nächste Folge. Dass irgendwann (?) die anderen die Songs von Floor singen -- davor habe ich etwas Bammel --- bin aber auch gespannt!

It's so crazy for me to hear Floor singing in German. Wtf xD With her voice my motherlanguage sounds beautiful for me for the first time and I truly mean that as I say it. Never liked German but with Floor idk... Somehow I hear my language for the first time now as people from other countries must perceive it. Beautiful. Always love what she does. Didn't know this song and generally I hate modern German music (sorry fellow Germans, just too boring and without any character) but she makes it metal and just so amazing. Also huge thanks to you Floor for learning the German lyrics! I know it's such a difficult language and for you to learn those lyrics just for this song is truly mindblowing and very flattering.

Yes. Most of the songs sung today all have that same droning, boring, emo vibe. Floor comes in completely renovates the entire piece to perfection. I do love older German music and would love to hear Floor re-vamp Katja Ebstein, "The Star of Mykonos". It just came to me while listening to "Zu schnell vorbei". Anyway, basically I agree with you 100%

Floor, I'm amazed at how much I like your sound in this cut. However, I'm in the USA and my language skills are limited to English and Spanish. I just watched the show and the video version is fantastic. She is an amazing performer and she blew the roof off with her moves. At one point she dances up to the others on the sofa lets them have it from about 5 ft away. They were totally blown away. Her performance was extraordinary. It was actually better than the beste zangers. She moved around a lot more dancing and singing her heart out. One of them said before she even sang a note that they hoped she wasn't going to sing them to the wall. Unfortunately for them, that's exactly what happened

Ich habe den ganzen Abend auf diese Performance gewartet. Um ehrlich zu sein verfolge ich Sing meinen Song eigentlich seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr, die teilnehmenden Künstler:innen sind bis auf diese Ausnahme überhaupt nicht "my cup of tea". Weder musikalisch, noch persönlich (Einschränkung: was in der Sendung sichtbar ist) noch rethorisch. Vielleicht falsche Generation, vielleicht falsches Genre, vielleicht einfach nicht mein Ding. Dass ich zugeschaut habe, war mehr ein Zufall. Reingezapt. Leider muss ich sagen, dass Floor hier wie eine außenstehende, am Rand stehende Person wirkt. Im Vergleich zu den anderen (meinetwegen alles gute Sänger:innen) einfach eine andere, viel stärkere Liga. Etwas hineingezwungen wirkt das auf mich. Nach dem Motto "bei all den Schnullerbacken versuchen wir, auch anderes Publikum zu erreichen." Vielleicht braucht es für Künstler:innen wie Floor Jansen ein Format Sing my song - Metal Edition! Das wäre doch mal was! Da wäre sich sofort dabei! Tolle Version des Songs. Clueso als Urheber ist für mich bei den Anwesenden neben Floor Jansen noch am besten verträglich für meinen persönlichen musikalischen Geschmack.

Ja sie tat mir teilweise ein bisschen leid. Jeder kannte die Lieder vom anderen und sie war einfach in diesem Genre nicht dabei. Ich fand sie ebenfalls den anderen gegenüber weitaus überlegen. Diese Künstler höre ich persönlich nicht weil wir diese einfach nicht gefallen. Für mich hört es sich immer alles gleich an oder zumindest ähnlich. Ich LIEBE Floor Jansen und ihre Stimme so sehr! SO VIELSEITIG! 🧡Und leider wird das viel zu wenig anerkannt. Sie ist eine ganz andere Klasse! Werde trotzdem nur wegen ihr weiter schauen! Floor Jansen im deutschen TV sollte man nicht verpassen 👌🏼

Generell eine Version mit alternativerer Musik wäre cool. Deutschland hat diesbezüglich soviel zu bieten und was bekommen wir hier serviert? Sechsmal Singer-Songwriter-Deutschpop. Absolut unspannend, vor allem, wenn man an's niederländische Original denkt. Floor hat aus dem Material gemacht, was sie konnte, aber den Rest der Sendung hab ich nur mehr oder weniger ertragen. Belanglose hauchende Hipster-Klone, die sich gegenseitig beweihräuchern, als seien sie der nächste Goethe.
