90's songs are popular till today it is still remembered by many indian music lovers and film fans some even don't get bored listening to these songs till today not only 90's kids even those who were born after 2000 also love these songs and listen to it since I'm 90's kid these songs takes us back to our childhood days and these songs when we were in our childhood were listening in taperecorder or else in radio even in doordarshan they would play these songs in chitrahaar and rangoli tv shows Why these 90's song were popular Because that time most of the subjects on which movies were made were all love subjects hence those subjects required romantic and melodious music for those love story movies hence music composers would compose all melodious music at that time and even singers would enjoy and sing the song whole heartedly also heroines were looking beautiful and glamourous no vulgarity shown by heroines in the movie while doing love scenes and mainly during songs only their romantic expression would say everything and coming to heroes most of the heroes were chocolate heroes they were handsome and suited for love story movies but acting wise they were not great actors only few chocolate heroes became superstars in 90's and some even today they are superstars acting in movies but most of them didn't stay in bollywood for longer time Coming to nowadays song why they are not becoming popular like 90's songs? Here are some reasons I feel it is purely my opinion 1- Copying western music and composing it for a Hindi movie and making songs do not get any indian feel at all while listening 2- I'm not against Punjabi singers i do like some Punjabi songs but too much Punjabi music in Hindi movies and Punjabi rap singers to some extent spoiled the Hindi music and songs in the movies I'm not saying it is bad you can still listen but for that particular season only by next season you will forget that song if you remember also you will not feel to listen again and again for long time like how 90's song till today you can listen and like to listen again and again 3- remaking old Hindi hit songs of 80's and 90's and spoiling the original song sung by legendary singers not good it is like showing disrespect to legendary singers who sung original song also after listening it you feel old is gold 4- remaking south movie songs and music in Hindi movies Hence I feel 80's and 90's Hindi songs are still better than nowadays Hindi songs even retro songs during 60's and 70's our parent's generation also good and melodious than most of the today's Hindi songs
