I am from Australia but live in HK. After a lot of negativity in the last few years, it was so refreshing to see you portray beautiful HK in such a positive light. I got to 'roll back' to before the crazy years and look at HK again with fresh and wondrous eyes. Thank you.

Hong Kong does have one of the most beautiful skylines in the world. The junk boat is so beautiful, and the fancy dim sums are looking delicious To be honest Hong Kong skyline is much more beautiful than New York skyline in my opinion. I had the privilege of living and working in HK for 6 years in the early 2000s. This video brings back fond memories although so much of the harbour has been reclaimed. Queen's Pier in those days used to be right behind the Post Office and City Hall buildings and just about where the ferries wheel is right now. They were already demolishing the pier just before i left HK. The city is still as beautiful as ever, and will forever be my second home.

@@FloraandNote I have a Sports Travel Business here in the UK and I have been escorting my customers every year for many years (Covid years aside) to the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens. I can remember the moment when I actually fell in love with Hong Kong. It was my first visit in 2004 - on a clear warm evening as I was sitting on the Avenue Of Stars Kowloon, overlooking Hong Kong Island. I thought to myself how lucky I was to see this view and I just didn't want that moment to end.

I initially planned on visiting HK, instead of just a mere layover, in January 2023 but when I was not able to reach my former employer, who I am not sure if he's still alive or not, I scrapped my plan. Watching your HK videos seems like HK is waving at me, calling me. It's been 20 years since I left HK for Canada but lately, HK has been on my radar. I have until the day of my flight, whether or not to visit and linger for maybe a week in HK prior to flying to my destination, Manila. I'll see... Thank you for sharing your video.

Flora bring Note to the Ngong Ping. Go to the Buddha Hill. (The Big Buddha is a large bronze statue of Buddha, completed in 1993, and located at Ngong Ping, Lantau Island, in Hong Kong. The statue is sited near Po Lin Monastery and symbolises the harmonious relationship between man and nature, people and faith. It is a major centre of Buddhism in Hong Kong, and is also a tourist attraction). At Ngong Ping you can take the Cable Car with Glass Bottom and enjoy the scenic view of the Hong Kong Airport and Lantau Island. Enjoy!
