The people who yell from the stands "I hate JD" (or whatever driver) ,should watch videos like this. It gives you good look at a good guy. Well done FloRacing!!!

Remember this guy back in the 2000's racing at Friendship Speedway and 311 Speedway in NC. We all knew then this guy was something special. By far he is my favorite driver of any class. Very humble guy for what accomplishments he has had. Just never got to meet him personally...fingers crossed one day! My first memory of him is at 311 Speedway is when I seen his wife running up to the front stretch with a huge dog and grease rags around her knees to protect her jeans....being an active racers wife, I remember thinking that was genius. lol

Crazy how different we all are. I love racing and can’t imagine how good it feels to make a good living doing it. I enjoyed my military career but this man made more in a year than I did 20. Sometimes I wish I could do it all over again but then again you can’t predict how your 2nd chance would go either. I’m an asphalt guy but enjoyed this a lot.

@ToddRobinson13 I retract that. Davenport is alright. Taking calf to ball game. Wife cries a lot. In a 45 min documentary, she had black hair, blond hair, pink hair, and brown hair. Got some issues there. She looks beat-up.

FLORACING y'all have ALWAYS HAD GREAT RACING BUT THIS WAS MAGICAL AND EPIC 🏁🏆🏁 I've never had the pleasure to meet JD yet but I was a fan before he got to megastar status because I have been around dirt track racing my whole life and got to see the greats of Nascar literally in it's earlier years seeing the who's who of Nascar and Dirt Track Racing every Thursday night at our local Track, The Old Columbia Speedway in Cayce South Carolina. Junior Johnson, Ralph Earnhardt, Lee Petty, Buck Baker, Tiny Lund, Cale Yarbrough and so many others. Plus my parents and I were at Darlington twice every year. We always parked in the pits where you could mix and mingle with the driver's and their crew members. I don't follow Nascar much anymore but I am a DIE HARD DIRT TRACK RACING LOVING FAN ESPECIALLY SUPER LATE MODELS!! Hearing those powerful engines roaring to life and feeling the ground rumbling under my feet and seeing the 4 wide salute and then thundering down the front stretch when the green flag drops!! BEST SPORT ON THE PLANET AND I LOVE JONATHAN DAVENPORT 🏁🏆🏁 AND HAVE BEEN WATCHING HIM FOR YEARS NOW!! HE'S STILL THE SAME GUY THAT HE WAS WHEN HE STARTED!! THIS IS A PRICELESS PRECIOUS TREASURED BLESSING AND MEMORIES FOR A LIFETIME AND PURE GOLD!!! KEEP THIS AWESOME RACING COMING FLORACING 🏁🏆🏁🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✝️✝️✝️💞🤗💞 MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR PRECIOUS RESPECTIVE FAMILIES AND ALL THE TRACKS AND PROMOTERS AND ALL THE PEOPLE IT TAKES TO GET A TRACK TO RUN PLUS ALL THE DRIVER'S WHO PUT ON PURE EXCITEMENT EVERY TIME THEY ROLL ONTO THE TRACK!!! THANKS AGAIN FLORACING 🏁🏆🏁💞🤗💞🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✝️✝️✝️
