I was at every one from the first one till 1999. We raced em all. Such good memories.

Terrific promotion, love the spirit , comradery, mix of talent, teams, and safety. Bucket list to see one in person. Passionate fan since a child, now 60, love it. Flinging dirt, burning fuel and tires, screaming to be the fastest, HUMANITY at work and play.

I realize some wanna say its a prestige thing. But the first one paid 4 grand and its 10 grand now 36 years later its not surprising some wanna criticize it.

Sometimes it isn't all about the money at this level. Think of it this way, it's a race in the dead of winter. It's held in the middle of the country and no one has the excuse that they are running for points with some track of series. That means every top dogs in their craft are going to be there. Now, if you're able to hoist that golden driller above your head at the end of the week knowing that you just bested 3-400 of the highest quality competitors, at that point, the money is ancillary. All this being said, obviously the money hasn't been that big of an issue as yearly entries continue to rise. Just my hot take.

@@dylanhall1588 I completely get what you are saying but prestige doesn’t pay the bills. It’s the biggest race in midget racing and it pays 10,000 to win and draws thousands of fans and hundreds of teams with multiple crew members that all pay to get in the gate. Big money bracket racing pays 10k to over a million dollars to win and draws no fans. They can pay more than 10,000 to win they are being greedy.

@@dylanhall1588 think of this way over the years there have been more days added to the event which is more money and a mav/tv and floracing added right??? And so there is more money coming into the event but none coming out why? The cost of racing has went up alot over the years but truely the problem is Emmet Hahn is making alot more money but his Lazy ass cant up the money to win that race that he has been super lucky to get very big named drivers to come and compete at. U think that dont help him and him alone that the names turn out to race on his dumpy little roller rink every year? Where would his greedy ass be if they didnt turn out? I mean damn is he too lazy to shop around and promote and get a sponsor to put up some money to make a bigger paying race thats noteworthy instead of a trophy that supposedly means so much. Times have changed and he needs to change or turn it over to somebody else not so greedy. Over the next 3 years i know the chillibowl is going to start be a bunch of no names we will see then if its can remain a big deal once the rest of the names get tired of coming to race for peanuts and they will because were in economic times that are surging these decisions also. Its laughable what it pays to win for such a precious race🙄🙄 be nice to see some good money on the line.all the luck Emmet Hahn had having the turnout of names at his race year after year but his own greed will turn that into a shitbowl in the years to come such a pitty how greedy people are ohh well world of outlaws are greedy bitches also paying 10g's to win since the early 80's . Race cars have tripled what the used to cost since the days of speedsport and open wheel only for media. Now they got higher sanctioning fees way higher ticket prices and streaming money they refuse to say what there greedy asses make on and ohh by the way a tire deal that lines only there pockets and its still 10g's to win thats some real bullshit.

So what's with all this grief for Bell and Larson. Based on what I just watched, it probably would of been a new guy this year again. I'm a diehard Larson fan, but those two didn't dominate this. Swindell's did more dominating. Isn't Rico there, isnt Grant, Thorson, Swindell Labs, Any many more. Not only did people slander Larson and Bells names this week, kinda showed so disrespect to these amazing drivers at the same time. Motorsports world is better than that, I thought.
