Ward and Huffman got my respect. Maybe there’s actual hope for the future of RACING. Ward could’ve easily wiped him up the track. Huffman could’ve backed off to get behind and dumped him going in the corner. The fact they ran side by side for a few laps in the Daytona 500 for late models is impressive.

If this was a cup race the car on the bottom would have shoved the car on the outside up the track in the center of the corner the first chance they had. Good clean racing.

Trevor Ward builds and does all the work on his own car. For him to be competitive and win the biggest late model race of the season gives small teams hope. No big name renta cars or NASCAR babies. Trevor is a no name small town racer who scratched and clawed his way to the greatest win of his career. He's not an Arrive-and-drive.
