I met Scott several times and a guy I use to help in racing we competed against him a couple times even years ago I would go in the pits of alot of races and talk with him when I saw him . He was Scott and their is no other like him , he is or was the best dirt race driver ever , that is my opinion!

I met Scott in the early 80's around the Cherokee Lake area. He was on a date with my friend, Kim. All I knew was they said he had moved here to Tennessee from California and that he liked racing. Seemed like a nice guy from what I can remember and I remember thinking he was cute.

Thank you for clarifying that. I knew 1984 sounded too early. And it said hes worth 4 to 5 Million dollars. I dont know how much he is worth but that is off just a bit....to say the least. And the shop pictured is not his shop I believe.the white 56 belongs to Tony Jackson Jr. (feel free to correct me if I am wrong). I dont think the house pictured is his either.

I still don't believe he intended this. I believe he took a chance and there was an accident. He liked to fly low. He like to take chances. I think if he was going to think about this he's the type of guy that would have did something Grand and memorable and he would have found a way that we were all seen him in a positive light. He got everything he could out of every day in life and I just don't think you would have gave any days away.
