As someone that used to drink so heavily that I'd sometimes wake up surprised that I was still alive, this song hits so hard. She has this way of making a song seem like it was made just for you. She's so beautiful it makes my eyes water. Something special in her that I don't see in any other modern female music artist. I have only one tattoo and it's, "F+TM", it may be the only one I'll ever have. 💕

"I must not look away" as war rages literally right next door and Poland is training a citizen militia. Powerful.

"Until you can find the child you were and find a way to get along". That line breaks me. In the best way. This song is the embodiment of love.

For anyone who had problems with drugs and alcohol, this song really conveys some hope on a jorney towards being sober again. Florence has been sober for 8 years now, so she really knows the feeling of wanting to just look away from the world.

I'm new in recovery. I listen to this song at least twice a day. It gives me hope. It tells part of my story. It's comforting to know I'm not alone. I must not look away, from the 🌎 from myself, from my mistakes, from God.

I know but...the Florence + The machine live at the Royal Albert eight years ago was so much more powerful incredible and solid, magical voice of a hundred soldiers........... I dont get how she morphed into this flotsam and jetsam wafty thing. As much as I like Stevie Nicks I prefer Florence!
@mrtn_by2 жыл бұрын
Well it’s a quiet song so it’s not representative:) Other more upbeat songs sounded really powerful

I love how most people compare her to is Stevie Nicks.. how I wish they'd do a song together.
@theoneandmany19909 ай бұрын
Well then you're not a fan, more like a annoying hipster. She can't possibly travel with a full orchestra plus this song is not as heavy as other recent ones. It doesn't make it any less powerful. You're complaining about something that isn't a real problem babes
@equestanton10179 ай бұрын
Honest, I only discovered her a year ago. We don't get out enough in the colonies. Anyway I went down a Utube Florence vortex of listening to all her songs in chronological order. This took a full weekend of my life. I found that I began utterly enthralled, tripping (aided and abetted) but by the end save for King rather less so. So kindda her very best fan ever for a day. Which was disappointing. I only have Live at Prince Albert hall left, where I lived (Kensington) when she was a mere student and not at all famous. I probably snubbed her in her Oxfam finery at some filthy market or other. Then again maybe true brilliant musical prosody does require stimulants, or mind altering of sorts, angazi?
