Pure heaven. One of Stevie Nick's best. I remember realizing a man I was in love was leaving town and I'd likely never see him again. I remember playing this on loop and had one of the longest crying jags of my life. I was relieved to know I in fact did get to see him some years later when he walked into the club. He looked at me like he had all those years before, a feeling that everything stops and you feel everything. One of the best hugs I ever got. Sorry.. nostalgia soap box. But for the longest I've always felt Stevie and Florence were meant to do a song together. I actually saw they've both been touring this year, some of the same venues within a few weeks of each other. I can imagine the feeling it would give for them to surprise everyone and come on stage together at the same time. The feeling that man gave me.. pure electricity and the feeling of being alive and overwhelmed. ❤️

Florence really gives this song some new life with her style. There's a different beat than the original so from 2:49 on, it feels more... uplifting, for lack of a better term. Like I imagine a man who just realized his mistake and now he's running like a madman through the city streets to go back to the woman he loves and apologize for everything he's done to hurt her.

Disagree. I love it, especially last like minute of it. She really found a way to clean up the arrangement and pocket idiosyncrasies into it. She sounds so powerful not even using a tenth of her voice and that's rare for her.

You CAN'T make a Stevie Nicks song "your own" but the important part is to show her admiration and respect for Stevie's music. Florence is the most talented modern music artist and it is a testament to how timeless Stevie's music is. I just wish they'd do a song together.

Yes tempo is to fast and the words are ran together somewhat. Let me refer to the career wrecking performance of fleet wood macs the chain at glastonbury. In my opinion it was shockingly awful . She had no pitch recognition and could not bend her vocals to adequate pitch in that rendering. She literally mutilated the cover of the song. Maybe she should not attempt fleetwood mac songs.
