You're showing the wrong Medici at kzbin.info/www/bejne/fqOkq3mgm86UsKM It's Cosimo I or Cosimo Primo as they call him in Florence, who became the grand duke of Florence and ordered fish and meat shops to be removed from Ponte Vecchio and gold shops to be installed instead. The picture you are showing is of Lorenze de Medici or Lorenzo Magnefico, he was one of the most influential men of Renaissance Florence.
