The generation coming through is certainly talented enough, the question is whether they can rebuild a sense that it’s the German National Team again by the time they’re in control of the team. A lot of others too, Aleks Pavlovic, Ari Ibrahimovic, many, many others… Edit: I’m a Bayern fan but I think Dortmund’s kid Kjell Wätjen, another midfielder from Ouedraogo’s year, is a really interesting and underrated talent, and in that Dortmund ‘06 class with Paris Brunner.
