It's a cattle breed dating back to Spanish explorers who brought the bovine to the sunny shores of Florida. "Cracker Cattle" almost disappeared from the Sunshine State, but a concerted effort to save the breed is now underway.

Mr. & Mrs. Broussard sorry for the lost of your son you have my deepest sympathy. I also have gathered a deep respect for your son and his wishes and your determination to honor his wishes in preserving a part of Old Florida and our history. This is coming from a 69 yr. Old Grandpop. Who has seen our Great & Beautiful Florida, losing unreplaceable LANDS every year. I wish The Broussard Family continued good health & prosperity and the GREAT LORD'S BLESSING.

My mom said she loved to watch the flow of colors as the cattle were driven to pens after they were gathered .

He's Perry good with the whip. I stopped with a 8' one. The 12' had the habit of trying to come back around for my liking.

They really do, their bodies are more shaped like aurochs than the Tauros cattle ironically!
