I had my driving test on December 19th 2022 and I passed on my first try! Thank you so much for posting these videos (I watched the other one ALOT too 😂😅) as they helped ease my anxiety! Here is how my experience went and some things to note for anybody reading through the comments... - I went to take the test with my father and a family friend (whose car I borrowed). Make sure you have the insurance and registration of the car you are using. If you are borrowing a car make sure the owner is with you and has their license. - Make sure you look into what documents you need to bring with you on the day! All I was asked for was my permit but I brought my birth certificate, social security card, and 2 proofs of address (my voter card, and mail from my bank) - Park in the parking space with the signs (like in the video) when you first get there. If they are all full park as close as possible and wait until one is available. - I got a new picture taken BEFORE the test where I then surrendered my permit - Before the test everyone who came with me exited the car and sat outside the entrance of the DMV. My instructor told me to remove the dashcam and she went in the driver's side to check everything on the car. I then went in the car and she asked me to do everything in the video! - Make sure you know ALL of the answers for parking uphill/downhill and curb/no curb! I was asked how to park downhill with no curb. You never know which question they will ask so know them all! My instructor asked me this question at the beginning of my exam before leaving the first parking spot. My instructor also told me to show her how I would set the car in park, where the emergency brake is, and where the ignition is. - Make sure you know how much you have to pay for your license! I had about $70 on me but I only had to pay $6 (and some change) but when I got my permit (or ID I can't remember) I paid closer to $60. That's about it for my experience. I hope it helps anyone reading! I have anxiety so I was really stressed about the exam but TRUST ME the test is very quick and exactly like the video! My instructor was a short, Hispanic woman, with short blond hair! I sadly forgot her name but she very nice and patient! Some things that helped me were going to the testing site on the weekend to see it in person and doing a mock test! They so block off some of the areas during the weekend but you can still get a feel for it! Also practicing my parking and proper techniques as much as possible. @@rowie3787 i FAILED. tbh i got a really moody lady that didn't even say hi to me. Apparently I was going too fast (probably 15-20mph) around the course, so take it slow when you do it. I stopped a little bit after the stop sign, and I didn't look all the way behind me when reversing out of the parking space. So just keep that in mind when you do it!

Hello, when you are parking on the left, do you line up your mirror with the first cone or line and then turn the steering wheel all the way left and straighten up as you get into the space? Also what’s your technique for parking on the right in the end. Is it the same as left?
